On the authority of Abi Abdillah Jabir ibn Abdillah al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with both of them) who said:

"A man asked the Prophet (sallaAllahu 'alayhi wasallam), "Tell me if I were to perform the obligatory [prayers], fast in Ramadan, treat the lawful as permissible and treat the forbidden as unlawful and I do not add anything to that, would I enter Paradise?" He [the Prophet (sallaAllahu 'alayhi wasallam)] answered, "Yes".

She laid on the bed, flipping through the pictures, that were sent to her from the photographer for the bridal shower.

Hafsat and Hadiza had organized the bridal shower and they had lots of fun, first they went to a private spa, where they were pampered.

And then they went for the bachelorette.

There was a box that was kept at the entrance, with words of advice written by the guests.

Days had passed and the wedding has started, their house was filled with guests, Hajiya Iya was being nicer, maybe because her wish was finally coming true.

Fahad. Well she hasn't heard from him in a while, since he texted her. She checked her messages and tapped his name their earlier conversation coming into view.

Unknown: salam.

Aysha: salam, who is this please?

Unknown: Fahad. Can we please talk?

Aysha: sure, OK.

Fahad: OK. Let's meets in 30. Outside your house.

The message was received 20 minutes ago but she still was sat frozen. She contemplated a bit but then she sent a reply.

Aysha: OK.

She stood up from her position and went to the mirror. The kunshi event - whereby the bride, her friends and relatives have henna put on- was done with earlier in the day, and the henna was freshly done.

Her face had that glow, from the multiple gyaran jiki she had been having for days, she was wearing a simple Ankara she had worn for the event earlier and she had on a mildly nude makeup complimented with a red lipstick.

Wearing a large veil, with a simple flat shoe, she left the room heading down the giant spiral staircase.

She went to the grand sitting room, slightly smiling at the women seated, she kept looking around for Hafsat. She went to the reception that was close to the entry door. She sat on one of the sofa and dialed Hafsat's number.
"Hello" she picked after the second ring.

"Where are you?" Aysha asked her.

"The kitchen, why?"

"Uh, Fahad texted me, he wants us to meet so that we could talk, I don't know about what. So can you please cover up for me, don't tell anybody, if not they'll turn it into a big deal and I don't want that" she said. She knew there were many gossipers who were just waiting for an opportunity to gossip about something and she doesn't want to give them a reason.

"OK, have fun" she teased making her roll her eyes as she hung up.

She stood up and casually strolled out, she went to the massive garden that was situated near the BQ, it was like another house on its own, the boys had migrated to the BQ after the women had filled the house, it was a wonder that they were able to fill up a mansion with over 35 rooms.

She sat on the patio swing under the gazebo, the lights hanged around it lighting it up. She removed her shoes feeling the carpet grass between her toes.

He still hadn't arrived so she brought out her phone scrolling through her timeline on Instagram, pictures of the wedding have already started going viral, even though there were none with the couple together. She told them she didn't want to take pre-wedding pictures and she was glad they respected her decision.

her phone rang and his name was displayed on the screen.

"I'm here" he said when she picked up.

"Great, where?" She asked standing up from her position.

"Opposite where you are seated"

She raised her head up looking around and she saw him parked directly opposite her, in front of the BQ.

She strolled towards the bentley, it was heavily tinted but she knew it was him because just like all his cars, the plate number was  customized.

She entered the car uttering a small salaam. The smell of his expensive perfume engulfed the entire space, the car was still on, the cold air from the A/C blowing right at them cooling the mildly hot temperature.

"Salaam" he answered.

"You look pretty" he complimented with a small smile.
"Thanks.." Her voice hanging in the air "So.. What did you wanted to talk about?" She said slightly turning to face him. He was dressed in a red polo shirt that was tightly hugging him showing his protruding muscles.

"Uh yes. You know I -I was thinking.." He stammered "this was a bad decision" he muttered in a low tone but she still heard him.

"Actually this was just an abrupt decision, I didn't even think it through, I just knew I needed to talk to you" he rushed out, rubbing the nape of his neck and letting out an awkward laugh at the end. She looked at him weirdly wondering why he was nervous.

"Calm down" she said with a small smile.

"OK you're right" he said then took a deep breath.

"Continue"

'OK so, you know we're getting married in a few days" no shit sherlock, she thought sarcastically. "And after thinking it through, I realized there's no need for us to be habouring hard feelings towards each other. For god sake its Hajiya Iya she always does what she sets her mind on. So rather than seeing each other as enemies we have to learn to live together, I mean, I'm not saying we should act like married couple but can we like at least try to be civil with each other, friends if possible. We shouldn't let this marriage create a tiff in our relationship. How does that sit with you?" He inquired after the long speech.
She paused for a while trying to think of what to say. "I think that's actually very good and thoughtful, and yeah it's better than been enemies. So what say? Let's try it out" she said smiling.

"Great" he laughed his dimples dipping in. "So how was today's event?" He asks and she released a sigh.

"Tiring, but well its worth it, I love my henna" she said looking at her hand.

"Yeah its really nice" he complimented.

"So have you seen your transfer letter?" He asked making her confused.

"Which transfer letter?" She asked.

"I thought you were transferring back here?" He asked equally confused. She pursed her lips furrowing her eyebrow, she just hope she would be allowed to go back to London to finish her school. They both were startled when a knock sounded on the car window. He brought down the window and the twins gestured for them to come out.
They stared at them with an unimpressed look as they both leaned on the car outside. "What are you doing this late at night?" Abdulraheem asked, they were both going into protective brothers mode.

"Its only 7:00" she replied dryly as she checked the time on her phone.

The twins both turned to her glaring at her with a frown set in their face.

"Even though, you guys are not supposed to be out here, remember you're not yet married. Aysha get into the house" Abdulrahman said.

Hypocrite! As if he doesn't go to Maryam's, even though they're not married. Sha, its not like she even wants to be out. She rolled her eyes before walking away
