On the authority of Abi malik al-Harith ibn Aasim al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: "The Messenger of Allah (sallaAllahu 'alayhi wasallam) said: "Purification is half of faith. The phrase al-Hamdulillah ('All praise be to Allah') fills the scale. The phrases Subhanallah ('High is Allah above every imperfection and need; He is pure and perfect') and al-Hamdulillah ('All praise be to Allah') together fill - or each fill - what is between the heavens and the earth. Prayer is a light. Charity is a proof. Patience is brightness. The Qur'an is either an argument for or against you. And everyone goes in the morning and sells himself, thereby setting himself free or destroying himself"

Fuck! shit! He cursed banging on the steering wheel as he drove off from their house. He wanted to tell her, he really did, but then he freaked out. His gut feeling was telling him it wasn't the right moment and he went with it. He just hoped she wouldn't hate him when she finds out.

"What are you up to?" Hafsat asked sitting on top of the counter, as Aysha was cutting up some red peppers.

"The twins literally demanded that they wanted lasagna made by me" she chuckled.

"Well yours are surely something" Hafsat said agreeing to the twins.

The two of them ended up cooking while singing and having fun, just like old times, keeping in mind that'll be the last time she'll be doing this before she got married.

Earlier on it was the kamu, and she had decided to enjoy her wedding, after all it was a once in a lifetime thing. So she made sure she enjoyed it to the fullest.

Her makeup was literally perfection, the designer surely didn't disappoint, the dress was so beautiful, and the photographer was lit.

Her bridesmaids were slaying in their asoebi, and they make sure they lit up the place by showcasing their dance talent.

When they were done they took the dish with the lasagna and went to the BQ.

"The grand chef is here" Abdulraheem teased as she kept the dish on the table.

Abdulrahman didn't even wait to greet them as he quickly went to bring out the plates and cutleries. Foodie!

"Have I told you how I'm going to miss your cooking!" Abdulrahman said as he munched on his food.

"Yeah, for like the thousandth time, do you always have to remind me that I'm leaving?" She scowled at him.

"If I don't remind you, who will?" He teased making her roll her eyes.

"But I know he'll probably drive to your house just to have you cook for him" Abdulraheem decided to divert the topic a bit seeing how she was on the brink of tearing up.

"I'm sure of that, that's Abdulraheem for you" Hafsat laughed, while Aysha stayed silent staring into oblivion.

She sighed covering up her face with her palms. "I can't believe I'm getting married tomorrow" her voice was muffled and thick with tears.

Hafsat rubbed her shoulders soothingly. Just like that she bursted out crying, and immediately all her siblings came to console her.

"Just because you're getting married doesn't mean its the end of the world, we can see each other whenever we want to" Hafsat said.

"Yes, and I trust Fahad enough to know he won't hurt you, on purpose" ya Abdulrahman said.

"I'll handle him if he even tries a something" Abdulraheem said with a hint of bitterness in his tone.

"God, I know I look pathetic crying like this" she said wiping away her tears.

"No you don't honey" Hafsat said. "if anything it shows you're strong, you've held it in for so long and you just needed to let go. After all we girls try, leaving our family and going to build a new one with some guy, from the time we get married everything about us starts to change from our last name to our body, all the sacrifices we made them for them. But still we embrace it all with a smile, knowing its all a blessing from Allah. Men should be damn proud of us" she said ending it with a little tease as she glanced at the twins.

"You hear that, you guys should be proud of us" Aysha teased with a smirk.

"Ai dama we didn't say otherwise" Abdulrahman rolled his eyes with a smile. Aysha giggled at their banter.

"That's it princess always keep smiling like that" they all smiled before having a group hug.

"Now where is that movie you said we were going to watch?" Aysha asked feeling completely rejuvenated.

"Seriously, a horror movie?" Hafsat said looking at the TV.

"It's not really scary, you're just being a drama queen" Abdulraheem rolled his eyes.

"Lights out? I saw the trailer" the twins gave them a wicked smile.

"It's not even that scar-" Aysha started to say until Hafsat started screaming while clinging unto her. She regretted sitting besides her! She was making her more scared than the film was.

"Can you guys please stop screaming, its not even that scary"

"Deal with it since you're making us watch" she shot at him.

"What are you doing here?" Hadiza asked him as she sat next to him on the bench in the garden that was situated a little distance away from their house.

"Nothing" he glanced at her for a second before his eyes went back to the twinkling stars. They were both silence for a while.
"Do you think this will work?" he asked.

"What? The marriage? Of course, even though we might not truly be in support of all the matchmaking Hajiya Iya does we've got to admit she makes awesome matches" they both laughed.

"I hope so" he said.

"Don't worry. Have you seen her since the wedding started? She looked so beautiful by god. You need to see the pictures we took" Hadiza teased, and he shook his head laughing.

"I saw her yesterday"

"What?! Where was I and why didn't I know?" She asked exaggeratedly being the drama queen she is.

"Because you don't keep you mouth close, you're just like a town crier, literally" he answered.

"I'm hurt brother, I do keep my mouth close" she insisted.

"Need I remind you how you snitched on me last week?" He raised an eyebrow.

"I told you it was a mistake, I was talking and I just said too much" she explained.

"That's almost the same thing" he answered.

"Goodbye" she said standing up.

"Wait" he dragged her back down "just kidding, even though you snitch a lot and you're quiet annoying, you're sometimes a good sister" he said giving her a teasing smile.
"Just sometimes?" She asked raising an eyebrow while matching his smile.

"Yeah, just sometimes"
