" WANNA TELL YOU BOUT LAST NIGHT "
You wrapped yourself in the heavy duvet, waves of nausea adding to your misery as you massaged the temple of your head trying to soothe the aching in your skull. Opening your eyes to the dimly lit room,
the sunshine peeked through the gaps of the thick drapes that covered the large wall window on your right side disrupting the darkness of your cold room. You squinted trying to adjust your eyes to the light, as you felt the dryness of your mouth sticky with thick saliva and cracked lips. Once on your feet the room swayed almost causing you to loose balance as you panicky reached for the side of your bed tightly holding onto it for support.
Craning your neck around, you recognised that you were back in your room causing questions to rise within you, the events of last night felt like it had been completely flushed out of you and as hard as you tried to rewind and remember it felt like there was an invisible barrier blocking you.
Your efforts only caused the headache to worsen as every second passed eventually forcing you to give up as you stumbled towards your bathroom.
Leaning against the grey marble sink you turned the sink on as you splashed cold water on your face just to feel something refreshing and instantly wish you could wash your brain free of the toxins too.
Looking up at the mirror you examined your eyes, no longer the glamour girl of last night, a lattice of pink over the white.
Cringing at your state you desperately reached for the cleanser on the shelf rubbing the soap onto your skin scrubbing the dirt off before washing it off with the warm water that ran out of the faucet.
Turning towards the shower, you slid the glass door open before stepping in and twisting the handle to the side allowing the water to spill out the shower head as you stripped yourself free of the fabric that clung onto your sweaty skin.
The droplets that ran down your skin calmed your nerves as well as playing a part in awakening your mind allowing your mind to think straight. You reached over for the vanilla soap-bar rubbing it against your body cleansing yourself free of the intoxicating aroma of alcohol.
Feeling at least a bit more sober than before you stepped out of the shower dressing yourself in a simple oversized white tee as you flung a white towel around your neck drying yourself off.
Returning to the comforts of your bed, you sat on the edge as the bottom of your feet met the grey carpet. You tried coming up with the potential candidates of who could have done the good deed of returning you back home soon coming up with the conclusion that it could very possibly be Chisato.
After all, She was one of the few who had a drivers license in her possession and was also apart of the small population that knew how to navigate around in your expensive and gated neighbourhood.
Thus wanting to thank her for her kind actions you reached for your phone that was situated on your bed side table unplugging it from the charger.
Scrolling through the numerous numbers on your contact list, your finger pressed down on hers as your thumb hovered above the call button a few seconds before tapping on it.
You bought the phone close to your ears nervously listening to the ringtone play as you waited for her to pick up.
Staring out at your opened balcony you tried finding a distraction to rear your mind away from the small pool of anxiety that resided at the bottom of your stomach causing you to feel giddy for a moment.
The other line turned silence for a few seconds before you heard the groggy voice of Chisato followed by the sound of rustling before her voice turned muffled for a few second accompanied by the sound of a male voice, you could only picked up a few words that she said almost as if she was telling somebody to keep quiet.
Assuming that she had company over, you made a mental thought to pry and ask her about it the next-time you saw her, knowing how big of a deal it was to possibly catch her getting intimate with somebody and much less allowing them into her bed.
You rose your eyebrows in silence as you pursed your lips together a small smirk creeping up on your lips. "Yeah Yurei what's with the sudden call in the morning?" Chisato questioned from the other side of the line.
"Oh nothing! Just wanted to thank you for returning me back to my house!" You teasingly said with a big smile stuck onto your face.
Chisato however felt more than confused as ever as she vividly remember being no where near you last night, only ever catching sight of you at one corner once in a while before completely disappearing from the party.
"Hey.. Are you sure you called the right person?" Chisato cautiously questioned as she fidgeted with the device in her hand.
Yurei felt taken aback as she stuttered, "Was..Wasn't it you that bought me home last night?" Swinging your leg back and forth, your voice trailed off as the sudden familiar feeling of unease began to engulf you again.
"Yurei, ever since you broke up with .. Rin, you completely changed the password of your gate. You hadn't informed anybody of your changed password at least not anybody that Ive know off the last-time I checked," Chisato informed over the line catching you off guard as realisation suddenly hit you.
The smirk on your lips fell as you ransacked on ways to end the call as your fingers anxiously gripped onto the device.
"Uh-huh! Oh shit! Sounds like I've got the wrong number my bad Chisato!" You excused yourself as you heard a small chuckle over the line greeting you goodbye before your fingers desperately pressed on the red button on the screen ending the call as fast you can.
Chisato was caught up with her companion and the headache that weighed down on her head only forced her to drop the topic not wanting to push it any further especially when she had other things on hand to finish thus she found herself forgetting about the phone call in less than a second before she turned her head sideways to entertain the guest in her bed.
Tossing your phone to one side you anxiously ruffled your hair as you bit the insides of your lips, you've really fucked up this time.
After all you had impulsively changed the locks password from your anniversary date to his birthday and the only way somebody was able to enter was if they knew the number.
Never would you had thought that such a phenomenon would have unwrapped in this boring life of yours, the thought of him sending you back home only stressed you out.
Causing you to flop yourself onto your bed covering your face with the thick towel screaming into the fabric mercilessly.
