" DONT PRETEND "
Deep in thoughts, Rin's eyes stared at the mobile screen unmoving as it stuck on the profile of your social media account.
He attentively took note of how the pictures that you used to secretly take no longer lingered on the page. Those photos of memorable starry night dates, impulsive beach days or even classroom visits had all been taken down, unconsciously causing a pout to appear on his lips.
Truth be told, he was hoping to come across them allowing him to bathe in some sort of closure because as much as he would refuse to admit it. He loved how much you appreciated the time spent.
How hard he would try to act as if he had not caught you in the middle of snapping away the small hang outs you guys had, always hiding his smile behind a mean scowl.
"Why are you looking at me like that," you turned your head towards him in confusion as he stared at you silently with his head tilted.
Your phone was propped up at an angle that allowed you to take a mesmerising picture of not only the sunset being showcased but the silhouette of Rin's back before he had impulsively turn back to look at you.
You hesitantly bought your phone away from Rin's face with a solemn pout, sudden urge of running away from the situation swallowed you.
Red bright shades began to cover your face causing you to hastily keep your phone in your tote bag as you embarrassingly looked away, not believing that he had caught you in the act.
You originally felt a-bit saddened believing that you had failed to capture the shot, not knowing that your fingers had did you justice, clicking the white button just in time before being rendered red-handed.
Best believe the ecstasy that swallowed you as you scrolled through your camera roll instantaneously making it your wallpaper as you cheered in victory.
The moment caused Rin's eyes to squint unconsciously in fondness as a small smile danced its way onto his lips.
He began to felt as if he were a stranger admiring you from far, all those precious memories turning foggy as he desperately tried to scavenge for more inside his scattered brain.
He did not know why but he stayed , glancing at his phone as his thumb scrolled through the page. His eyes squinted as he scrutinised every single picture that he had access too, taking in the details of how the end of your eyes always had a slight wrinkle to them every-time you smiled or how you always had the same silver angel necklace wrapped around your neck.
However one particular picture stood out like a sore thumb, to be specific it was a picture of two shadows reflected on to a grassy field which he assumed was a soccer field accompanied by an minimalistic caption.
