So basically my previous phone commit died randomly today so my dad gave me his old one for the time being.

While restoring some things from one of my note apps, some of my notes weren't there, but oddly...

...some notes which I haven't seen in ages showed up...

Including this thing I wrote 4 years ago in my old creative writing club in secondary school

So I decided fuck it, might as well publish it

This is a part of some anmeasia plot story I was planning on writing but never got the motivation for

Red was in his room, sitting on his worn out bed. His face rested in his hands, sighing deeply. He didn't know what to do anymore. He felt like his world was falling apart right in front of him. He did what he could though. He did what he thought was right. Was it right? He doesn't know, yet. There was suddenly a soft knock on his door which caught his attention.

"Uhh... Come in..." His voice was quiet and barely audiable. He was suprised the person on the other side on the door could hear him. The door opened slowly revealing a well known figure.

"H-Heya Red..." Sci, the doctor at the hospital and one of Reds close friends, closed the door behind him, "How 'ya doin'?"

Red didn't answer right away or even look up from his hands, leaving the room with an airy silence. Sci stayed stood by the door awkwardly, hoping he wasn't much of a bother right at this moment.

"Better..." Red replied, still not looking up. The events of the past few days haven't been great. Quite life changing to be exact. For long term he wasn't so sure. He took another deep breath, his eyes suddenly swelling up with tears, "...I've messed up... I've messed up so badly..." His voice was dry.

Sci immidietly sat next to Red putting his hand on his shoulder to try and comfort him, "H-Hey... I-It ain't you're fault. I-It was the driver's fault..."

"Get your fucking hand off me!" He growled, moving his shoulder agressively off the physical contact. He looked up at Sci with pure anger, tears running down his face, "I should have been there with him! Instead, I said I was too fucking lazy to leave the house!"

"H-Hey! It could have been worst... He could have died...!" He spoke quickly, not wanting to anger the other anymore than he already did.

Red didn't want to think of that. Blue dying was something he would never want to think of. He put his head in his hands again. "You're correct but... He doesn't even remember anything... His memories are gone..."

"And you can remind him of everything. You have told him about how you two were, haven't you?" Sci asked.

Red shook his head.

"What? Really? But why?!" His eyes widdened at this sudden information.

He looked up, "Because I didn't want to stress him out! How would you feel if you don't remember anything and then a sudden stranger says that they are your boyfriend?!" He felt like he was losing it.

"Hey! Hey! Calm down!" He raised his hands and stood up in defence, "What's wrong with you caring about how other people think so suddenly...?"

"It's because I love him!" He yelled. He took a deep breath to calm down, "He just doesn't know that anymore..."

Sci sighed, "Well, it don't seem you're in the mood to talk..." He began, walking to the door. Red nodded. "I'll leave..." Red nodded again, looking down to the ground. He walked out the room, closing the door behind him, leaving Red in the silence of his room.
