WARNINGS - Smut during mating season

I've spent too much time trying to make this sound as decent as I can make it-

'Too fuckin warm...'

This is what Red thought all through the night, tossing and turning on his mattress, unable to fall asleep. He felt so uncomfortable, magic sweat ran down his skull and onto his drenched pillow. It felt like his whole body was on fire. At some point, he had ended up kicking his entire blanket off his mattress and had even took off his shirt, leaving him in just his shorts. Even with all of his efforts, it didn't do much to cool him down. He would have took his shorts off as well, but he didn't want to risk Boss storming into his room in the morning seeing his bare ass.

Of course Red knew why he was like this. He hated the reason why. It was his heat deciding to show up and ruin his night. Red could feel his magic strained against his shorts uncomfortably, basicly begging to be given relief. Has he tried? Yes. 3 times. It seemed like this heat was a strong one.

Red ended up lying flat on his back, any comfort seeming impossible. He wiped off some of the sweat off of his face and then reached over for his phone, turning it on. The phone screen almost blinded him at first but his eyesight soon adjusted to the light enough to see the time. 5:26am. Red sighed in annoyance. Looks like it was another sleepless night for him. Although, it would have been full of nightmares, so maybe it was better this way.

Red was about to put his phone back until he noticed he got a message. He raised a non-existant brow in confusion, sitting up slightly and then clicking onto the small icon. It turned out to be from Blue. His boyfriend. This grabbed more of Red's attention as he read the message.

Blue - 'I know you might not be awake right now, but feel free to reply whenever you are able to! Papy isn't going to be home most of the day so I thought to ask if you would like to come over today and hang out! You can say no if you don't want to!'

At first, Red didn't know if he was reading this right. Has his life finally given him mercy? It was pretty ironic timing but there was no way he was going to complain. Not when he could have the small blue skeleton under him, wreaking him- Red should probably calm down his thoughts...

So, he had two options. The sensible option would be to decline the invitation, suffering on his own until his heat was over. This would avoid Blue getting hurt in any way, as by telling on how bad his heats can get, Red may end up accidentally breaking Blue's hip or something. That wouldn't be good. But you see, Red isn't a responsible thinker at times, so he goes with the best sounding option. He picked up his phone.

Red - 'ok when do you want me?'

Blue - 'Wowzers, I wasn't expect you to be awake so early! You can come over at 9am as that is not long after Papy leaves. I've got a few ideas of what we can do for fun and I'll also make breakfast for us both!

Red - 'jeez thats 3 hours away thats a long time to wait. apart from that sounds good. ive even got an idea for what we can do that is if youre up for it'

Blue - '3 hours isn't that long, Red. I'm sure you will be fine. Really? What's your idea?'

Red - 'youll find out later'

Blue - 'Oh okay. Can't wait! Love you, Red, see you soon! <3'

Red - 'love u 2 blue. bye'
