Ace's POV
I wake up with a groan as I feel my back hurting a little bit, I go to get up but I feel like I'm being held down causing me to look over and see Sheila laying with her head on my chest and her hand draped on my stomach
I smile and kiss her forehead as I bask in the moment for a bit, I wish this was my reality everyday
No random hookups, no girlfriends for two months then break up with them, no feeling lonely in bed all night
Just love
I feel her stir causing me to feel a bit disappointed that she's waking up so soon, she looks so beautiful when she sleeps, I see her look around before looking to me and immediately getting up
"Good morning" Sheila says causing me to smile
"Good morning....damn this floor fucked my back up" I say as I sit up with some discomfort and Shelia gives me a look
"Should have slept on the bed like I said" She responds with some attitude and I roll my eyes playfully
"It clearly wasn't that comfortable givin that you ended up on my chest" I say causing Sheila to blush a bit, just as she goes to respond, Sheriff Troy comes over to us with a warm smile mainly pointed to Sheila
"Good morning guys, ready to head up" He says and I just nod before getting up and helping Sheila to her feet, I gather my pillows and blankets before heading to the limo and putting them into the trunk
"So just follow me up and I'll lead the way back" Troy says warmly before getting into his squad car, I put a thumbs up and open Shelias door for her
"Hey....once we get up there....just try to have fun and when you need a break...you'll know where my room is" I say and Shelia smiles to me
"Thank you Ace" She says and I nod before closing her door and walking to the limo, I get in and shut the door with a huff
"Your so whipped for her" Thomas says and I roll my eyes and flip him off causing him to laugh as he pulls out of the parking lot and follows Troy and Sheila
We arrive soon after and we thank Troy who not insists on coming in with us but we both say it's alright, I smile and thank Thomas who snickers and waves me off but I roll my eyes at him
Dickhead...gotta love him though, he's been my right hand since elementary school
I walk in with Sheila in front of me as she greets everyone, I wave to everyone as they come over and hug Sheila, I look to Mike who tries to dap me up but I ignore him and head over to Angela who's cooking
"You have fun goin after your girl Ace" Marcus says causing some of the guys to laugh but I smack him upside his head
"Yea lots of fun" I say sarcastically and sit down and Pat hands me some orange juice and I thank her as she gives me a look of appreciation
Patricia, Diane and Angela ask how Sheila's doing as I just start texting Thomas who's hanging out with the Sheriff and blanking everyone out as they talk
"Ace.....I'd like you to meet my friend Trina...Trina this is Ace" Sheila says and Trina gives me a smile and a look I recognize too much, money sign eyes as I call them with a hint of lust

"Nice to meet you" Trina says as she comes over to me and puts her hand out, I shake her hand politely with a small smile, I look over to Mike who looks like his nuts were cut off and I immediately detach my hand from Trina's
He ain't even check on or call his wife and he lookin like I'm flirting with his wife when this girl ain't Sheila who is his wife, hell nah I knew this girl wasn't it
"Damn my back is killing me" I say as I rub my back, I feel Angela rub it as well
"Girl where did y'all sleep" She asks as she feels a knot in the middle of my back
"I slept on the floor of the jail cell, I gave Shelia the bed" I say as I try and stretch to loosen up my back, I feel a hand on my lower back and see it's Trina causing me to feel uncomfortable immediately
"Here I know how to give massages come here" Trina says as she grabs my arm and leads me to the living room
"Man why not just have Sheila sleep on the floor" Mike says casually and I ignore him
"Maybe you should sleep in the floor ya damn dog" Angela says and I let out a small laugh and I see Trina look at me weirdly
"Y'all better not do anything more over there" I hear Terry yell and I roll my eyes
"You won't have to worry about that" I say as Trina looks at me with a bit of disappointment
Ew
"Here lay on the floor and I'll straddle your back and try to get these knots out" Trina says as she grabs a pillow and hands it to me, I nod and lay down and she straddles my butt before starting her massage
I can't lie and say this don't feel good as hell but I still don't trust this woman, especially since she was so close to Mike when we arrived and when she saw me, she immediately left his ass as if she wasn't attracted to him five seconds ago
Sheila's POV
I smile and watch my friends make breakfast, I look at my husband sadly as he's barely looked at me this whole time since I've been here
Not even a how are you or I missed you just a crappy hug and a sad puppy look which I know Ace noticed, my mind travels to Ace and I feel a warm feeling take over me
She really came to get me without hesitation, she slept on the floor to have me sleep on a warm bed but I couldn't let her sleep alone like that, ugh she such a gem
I look out to the living room and watch as Trina gives her a massage, I feel a crack in my heart as I watch Ace smile and compliment Trina who looks like she's enjoying the massage more than Ace
I watch her almost grind on Ace as she moves her hands over Ace's strong back and shoulders that I'd lov-
"Sheila you good girl....oh I see" Angela says as she looks at Trina with disgust
"What do you mean" I say confused as I wipe away the thoughts I just had, Angela gives me a knowing look and I immediately look away
"Why can't you just leave that asshole and go to Ace...you know you wanna be with her" She says and I roll my eyes
"Girl.....I can't do that, I love Mike and I wanna make things work with him..that's why we're here" I say and Angela sighs defeatedly
"One day you gon get sick of him" Angela says before rubbing my shoulder and walking off, I sigh and go back into the kitchen and help with the cooking some more
"I'll help cook since they seem busy" I say as I go to help Angela
"We all know you know about cooking baby" Mike says and I look down as I feel a punch in the gut, he's always making comments about my weight any chance he gets and I don't know how to talk to him about it
"You know what this mother- you know what" Angela goes to say but I stop her with my eyes and she just walks off to calm down
"What is wrong with your wife man" Mike says as I sheepishly look down as help out with the food
"It's Wednesday....welcome to my world" Marcus says casually as Mike laughs at this but I keep my head down as I help make Ace her food
I hope at some point I can make things work
A/n ok uhhhh Shelia havin some feels for Ace and Ace not feelin Trina, I do recommend y'all watch this movie if y'all got HBO Max and if y'all don't then try YouTube or just read this and see the alternative story lol
