Ch 47: Meeting Greenwood

Azrael pov:

"I know where to go." Dropping the folder of stuff I try to leave but Rose stops me, grabbing my arm and making me face her.

"I'm coming with-"

"No, stay with him. Send some men 30 minutes after I leave." I try to pull away but her grip is tight in my arm.

"Why? What-"

"I don't have time to explain, I've wasted an hour and a half already. The place is far, I have to go now." I rip my arm from her and book it out of the chopshop.

Going out to my car I get in and take off immediately, trying to swerve through traffic and people. The house was almost an hour away, I haven't been there since I was a kid.

It's Ryker…

He's behind this?

I don't understand…

Amilia pov:

"She's so fucking stupid." I grunted as Jeremy drove us to Axe's place.

"She's being smart and careful. You would too if your friend was taken." I rolled my eyes and sunk into the seat. 

I wanted to go with her, I could help, I'm not sure how, but I know I could. Instead she has me dragged away by Jeremy to Axe's place to stay put. When we pulled up I reluctantly got out of the car, taking my time as I walked to his door.

"If we're lucky, Emily might be here. We can drink and play sloppy uno." Jeremy was at the door waiting for me, a happy smile on his face.

"I do like sloppy uno." I crossed my arms and watched him knock on the door.

"There ya go. It'll be fun." He wiggled his brows. We laughed and continued to wait for the man to answer.

The door unlocked and opened slightly, Jeremy took the lead and walked I first. Following him I focused on finding Emily to see if she wanted to play.

The place was dark when we got in, the upper loft looked messy and so did the kitchen. It wasn't until we got to the living room did I notice the blood on the floor. I reach out and grab Jeremy, pulling him back as a sledgehammer came out to hit him.

There were masked men inside, the same ones as the guy that attacked me at my place. They had weapons in their hands, they tilted their heads and charged us. Splitting up I ran to the other side of the room as Jeremy did the same.

I avoided a hammer to the face and dodged a cut on my body. A third came out and kicked me in my stomach, I groaned then screamed when the hammer hit my thigh. One of them got pushed away as Jeremy shoulder checked the guy.

He grabbed the guy that was swinging at him with the knife and knocked the weapon out of his hand. Fighting through my pain I punched the one above me in the dick and leg locked him after. There was a snap before I let go, effectively breaking his leg.

I rolled away and got to my feet, Jeremy got ambushed by two of them. One held him while the other proceeded to beat him as he was restrained. I grabbed the knife he knocked away and stabbed the one attacking him.

He screamed when the knife jammed into his shoulder, pulling it out I stabbed him again, this time in his neck. He choked on blood, slumping to the floor and holding the wound.
