No one pov:
New York city bustled along, cars honking because of traffic, people yelling in the streets, even cops harassing some people. The many people were unaware of what would happen today, unaware of what is to come.
A command is given through a com, one to throw the entire city into a spiral. The click of a button ruptured screams from all around the city, a massive explosion taking out 4 buildings sends the people of the city into utter fear.
Fire Trucks, Police, and medical staff of all sort move quickly, trying to find the source of the explosion. A car races down the street along with the cop cars, weaving in and out of moving and non moving cars.
Skidding to a stop the door opens and a man rushes out, moving into the building to help. Getting inside and searching around Axe manages to find one of the bombs. A small looking thing capable of destroying so much more.
"I got it." Tapping his ear piece he carefully moves closer to it so he can disarm the device.
"Police look pissed." Jeremy warns on the other end of the coms, moving around to keep the cops off him.
"Distract them." Axe grunts, carefully cutting the wires and moving the object around.
"I found mine as well, is it supposed to be this big?" Claudio sounds in the coms, a little bit of sweat dripping down his forehead.
"Defuse it so we can move." Axe cuts the final wire and lets out a sigh of relief. Picking it up he carefully moves back out the building.
Getting outside again, having only been gone for 5 minutes proved to have a lot happen. Smoke and ash filled the air as some buildings laid in rubble. A car screeches to a stop next to him, going to the back he pops the truck and sets the explosive inside.
"Onto the next!" He gets into the back seat just as the car takes off again. Unlike most times Jeremy didn't have his music playing, instead it was quiet.
"Done!" Claudio said through the coms. Turning the car he drifts onto the next street to pick up the man.
"How's it going Damien?" Axe taps the ear piece once again. Some static comes through before his voice rings out.
"It's a shitshow. I feel like I'm in war." Heavy gunfire sounded when he spoke, putting the others a little on edge.
On the upper side of the city there was a gunfight happening. An army of green masked men fought off the onslaught of police and Azrael's men. Damien ducked behind a car to reload his weapon, feeling fear prickle at his heart.
"Rose I haven't seen you, do you read me?" He shouts over the noise, sitting up and firing at any masked men he sees.
"On your left!" Moving out of the way Damien watches a motorcycle fly by him, into the hoard of men.
Not a moment later it explodes and kills the crowd drawing closer to him. He freezes in fear as he watches his friend die. Feeling a hand touch his shoulder he glances behind and finds the woman there with a smirk.
"Hah, you totally care about me." She smirks as he wipes the tear that managed to escape.
"I HATE YOU." Pushing her back he takes cover from a new onslaught. Moving behind different cars they try to get better positioning.
"FIRE!" Damien shouts to the brigade of men. Aiming their weapons they mow down anyone to charge them.
"Team C, do you copy?" Damien ducks behind a broken pillar to reload his weapon once again.
