Episode 5 - EDEN Syndrome
Sonic and Kyoko were inside the Kuremy Detective Agency. As Kyoko was about to show him the details of the case she was working on. However, someone entered the room, as they were speaking. Sonic looked at the old man.

Old Man: Pardon me, Kyo-chan!
Kyoko: Hee hee. There you go again, sneeking on me, old man.
Old man: Oops, my bad. I did it again.
Kyoko: And would you stop calling me Kyo-chan? It's embarissing! That's a childhood nickname!
Old Man: Not gonna happen! You'll always be my Kyo-chan to me! No matter how old you get, or how good of a detective you might be! Hahahahahaha!
Kyoko: Sigh... How long have you been there? What have you heard?
Matayoshi looked curious at her. That's when he noticed Sonic standing on the side of Kyoko's desk, who's also looking curious at him. Matayoshi took a conclusion.
Matayoshi: Oh you have a client! Sorry, sorry!Were you going over a case?
Kyoko: Not exactly. This is-- well a client of sort, though of a somewhat unconventional nature.
Old Man: Oh? Just who are you, then?
Sonic: Sonic Casterwill, Kyoko-san's new assistant.
Kyoko: Let me introduce you. This is Detective Matayoshi. He's an old friend from when my father ran the agency. I trust him completly. He's the most elite detective the force has on cyber crimes.
Matayoshi: Looks are deceiving, you were thinking? Well, I suppose I don't exactly fit the mold. But if I did, I'd never be able to tag along with the shadier element! Oops, a slip of the tongue, hahahaha!!!
Sonic: I judge people by their actions, not their words.
Kyoko: Well spoken. So, is there something afoot? If it's a case, please sit on the sofa and wait. I'll just whip up some tasty coffee...
Matayoshi: No, thank you! There's no case today! No need for coffee! I heard a rumor on the EDEN Syndrome. I thought you might be interested, Kyo-chan!
Kyoko: Let's hear it, then.
Matayoshi: Well... (looks at Sonic)
Kyoko: Don't need to worry about my assistant, Matayoshi-san. He has a very... special connection to EDEN. He has the ability to become quite a specialist on the field.
Matayoshi: I see. If you can vouch for your assistant, that's fine. The rumor concerns the special area in the hospital, where they're keeping the ones who are infected with the EDEN Syndrome isolated.
