The once beautiful EDEN Cyberspace now looks like a virtuall waste land, as everything in there is constantly being eroded by Eaters. The Hudie gang arrived at the entrance, and saw the state of EDEN in front of them.
Chitose: Is... Is this really EDEN?
Ryuji: It's worst than I thought. What happened to the Digimon that were left here.
Akari: How could it come to this? Sure there were Eaters before, but it was never this bad!
Sonic: From what Suedou told me, once Eaters have assimilated data, they absorb it, break it down, and reconstruct it in their own form. By absorbing their targets, they overwrite themselves and reborn as a new life.
Sayo: In other words, the more data Eaters keep assimilating, the more they'll evolve. But their evolution usually is supressed for some reason, as if there's something holding back their evolution.
Akari: And whatever that could be, the Eater Legion broke free from it, right?
Sonic: That was probably due to Erika's modifications. It broke free from the main unite. With no limits to its evolution it went out of control. (spots something) And so did the Eater Bits. We got company!
