Episode 12 - Roar! MetalGreymon!
Akari and Erika went to investigate the Digital Waves in Shinjuku. They ended up meeting Suedou Akemi, a researcher working for the Kamishiro Enterprises. As they were talking, a phenomenon, which Suedou called Digital Shift started.
Erika: Could it be that the high readings of the Digital Waves are what caused this?
Suedou went inside, followed by Akari and Erika. They found an Eater there. Even though Togemon's data was not destroyed by the monster, the Eater was invunerable to the attacks. Suedou ventured inside, but Akari and Erika had to leave.
Sonic: Could it be that the Digital Waves caused this thing to apear?
It was Sonic and Arata's turn to venture inside the Digital Shift. They met Suedou there. And now, they're off to find the Eater in there, and return to the real world.
Suedou: The real word, he says... Where might that be, I wonder.

Sonic and Arata ventured deeper into the Digital Shift. Sonic looked over. Seems like a few roads were blocked. Plus, everything around the, was much bigger.
Sonic: Is it just me, or the size of this place grew?
Arata: Funny, I was about to ask the same thing!
Gaossmon: Looks like this place was made for Digimon to wonder around! How come human memories made a place for Digimon?
Arata: Well at least one human must have entered in the Digital World!
Arata: But who?
Sonic: Don't ask me! I don't think I remember anything related to that! Still, this whole Digital World thing is kind of familiar, somehow.
Sonic looked around. There seems to be something glitched on the way. It looked like a train. Sonic tried to get any data out of it, but it was worthless.
Sonic: Doesn't look like this train was caused by any Digimon. It seems to be part of this "Digital Shift".
Arata: Should we try and break it?
Sonic: I aprove it! (raises a Digisoul) Digisoul...
Gaossmon: Sonic, wait!
Sonic: Huh?
Gaossmon: Instead of charging it directly, try using it yourself!
Sonic: Use it?
Sonic then looked at his Digisoul. It was blazing within his fist. He then looked at the wall. Sonic closed his eyes. He raised his Digisoul, and then opened his eyes again. Sonic jumped at the glitched object.
