Episode 16 - Avalon Server!
Sonic and Sayo's partners merged into a single Digimon, and together, defeated Belphemon, restoring order at the Shibuya Records. When it ended, Sonic got back to the agency, and Yuuko presended him and Kyoko a case.
Meanwhile, Ryuji remembered a meeting he had with Kishibe. Erika returned from the hospital, and the Miasma from Under Kowloon disapeared. However, Sonia, Tails and Wave were suddenly attacked by a MetalGreymon. Tailmon managed to defeat him, by digivolving to Angewomon.
Angewemon: HOLY ARROW!!!
MetalGreymon returned back to normal, when he was free from Devimon's Evil Spiral. Yuugo took him to protect him. And as for Sonic, he got valiaule information on Yamashima Makoto. He returned to the agency and delivered it to Kyoko, and Matayoshi.

Kyoko: Correct. But when I went to look for the files, there wasn't anything on them at all. So I asked someone who was directly involved with the case itself.
Matayoshi: Of course you didn't find them. All the files are stored away at the Kamishiro!
Gaossmon: Oh just great. They had to be at the Kamishiro, didn't they?
Sonic: How are we supposed to get them back, then? Why are they there in the first place?
Matayoshi: I'm ashamed to admit this, but we had to leave them behind.
Sonic: Huh?
Kyoko: This was that "hunch" of yours, wasn't it?
Matayoshi: Yeah. At the time, suspicions were raised that the Kamishiro had adquired the Nile Cooperation illicitly. Your father and I were investigating that, when we ran into a little problem.
Kyoko: A problem?
Sonic: What kind of problem?
Matayoshi: Pressure came down from the top. And we were forced to abandon the case. At the time we were also forced to hand all the files over to the Kamishiro as well.
Kyoko: So Kamishiro pulled the strings. That was a self-incriminating move, wasn't it.
Sonic: No wonder. Incriminating themselves to take anyone who would try to expose them for their crimes.
Gaossmon: So, thsoe guys are always one step ahead of us.
Matayoshi: Since we knew how bad it was, we decided to keep silent track of where the case files were stored. I kept track even after your father passed away.
