"So they're dead?" Kie asks Shoupe.
"We don't know." Shoupe responds sadly. JJ starts freaking out and has to be held back by another officer. Kie's and Pope's parents arrive, and start to comfort them.
I look to my brother, JJ, and he opens his arms wide. I happily take the hug I never receive, grateful that he understands in a time like this.
"I know how much he meant to you, y/n." JJ lets go because Mr. Heyward wanted to talk to him. Kie comes over and hugs me tight. "I'm so sorry y/n." She's sobbing at this point. John B was like her brother.
