After being filled in on the fact that Leonard Peabody is Vanya's boyfriend, we started to walk to his cabin.
I honestly felt really bad that I'm so out of touch with Vanya that I didn't even know she got a boyfriend. Even if he's at fault for the upcoming apocalypse.
"Be careful, okay? We don't know what Peabody's capable of." Allison warned us. I rolled my eyes. I've fought worse.
"He didn't seem dangerous when I first saw him. Looked kinda scrawny." Diego muttered. I held in a laugh.
"Yeah, well, so are most serial killers and mass murderers. I mean, look at Five and Y/n. From what I've heard, they've killed several people in the past couple of days." Allison pointed out.
"Thanks." Five thanked Allison. I gave her a salute.
"Good point. So what's this guy want with Vanya?" Diego asked us. I shuddered at the thought.
"I don't know. How about we ask him after we kill him?" Five hissed.
"Woah, woah. Hey, look, I'm gonna burst through-" Diego stopped talking when he noticed that Allison was no longer in our company.
"You know what? It would be nice for people just to stick to..." Five tried to grab my hand, but I pulled my hand back.
He gave me a look of disbelief before scoffing and spacial jumping inside.
"...the plan." Diego sighed when he realized it was just the two of us. "Thanks for sticking with me." Diego muttered. I didn't have the heart to tell him I was just trying to make a point to Five.
"Anytime." I winked.
Diego looked at the door before jumping through the glass. I gasped as I heard a thud. Idiot did that with a cast on his arm. He's gonna be in a full body suit by the end of this.
"Are you dead?" I whispered as he groaned. Allison and Five came to see Diego on the floor with glass shattered around him.
"Subtle." Allison snorted. Five opened the door.
"You know, the door was unlocked."
"Yeah, well, my way works just fine." Diego barked as he stood up and used his one able arm to wipe the glass pieces off of his clothes.
