The expedition

The Freya Familia is asked to go for an expedition as a punishment. Their goal is to go to the 71 st floor. They have to go for the expedition within 20 days. So they began their preparation.

Bell learned about their punishment. Bell feel bad for them as he was the reason for all this. So he asked permission from both Hestia and Freya to join them for the expedition. They were not willing to do so in the beginning. But later, due to Bell's repeated requests they decided to give up on one condition that Ryu will join him in the expedition.

Bell joined the short training with Ottar. Ryu will train with Hedin. Bell will get knocked out each time they fight, but Both Freya and Hestia enjoyed Bell's growth. In the evening after the training, he would go to the guild to meet Miss Eina. She would teach him about the deep floor and the monsters in those floors.

One night, after the lecture from Eina, Bell went to home. On his way he met Aiz and Lefiya. Lefiya apologized for her rude behavior recently. She was afraid that she would loose Aiz like Felvis. Aiz was worried about Bell for hurting him both mentally and physically.

Bell forgave them instantly.

They enquired what he is doing with the Freya familia. Bell told them the insisted on coming with him. Bell hesitated at first but latter said yes.

Now Ottar is level 8. Hedin, Hogni and Allen become level 7. The Gulliver brothers become level 6. Bell and Aiz both level 6, but still Aiz had the advantage of high level 6. Ryu is level 5 and Lefiya is high level 4. It was an opportunity for Lefiya to level up.

Bell and others reach floor 37 in just 4 days. Bell and others were not come into much powerful monsters yet. Then Monster Rex Udaeus showed up at the entrance of 38th floor. Ottar asked Bell weather he want to give it a try. Bell stepped forward. Bell fought with equally powerful Udaeus. They fought for 15 minutes. Bell was able to defeat it. Of course Bell did take damages due to it's spines. The fight between them where amusing. Everyone was surprised to see that Bell has gotten even stronger than before. Lefiya and Ryu helped to heal his wounds.

Then after one more week they reached the 49 th floor. There they fought with Balor. Ottar was already level 8. He and others were able to defeat Balor after a long half an hour fight. Then they took rest in the 50 th floor as it is a safety point.

Until now things were easy for Bell and others. Ryu was not doing much but she was doing well. Aiz and Lefiya have already used to this floor as they have come this far already. Ottar is really a power house for all of them. Then they have their strategy meeting. They shared each other their experiences with the new comers.

After taking enough rest for a week, they resumed their expedition. Things were really difficult for them afterwards. They finally reached the bottom of the dragon's vase. There they fought many Valgang dragon. Bell struggle really hard against these dragons as his firebolt was difficult to work against them. Ryu stayed on ground protecting Lefiya who casted powerful fire magic against those monsters.

Ottar was doing real damage to these dragons. He not only destroyed them but also protected his companions. Hedin, Allen and Hogni were fighting them on their own very well. Bell was asked to take care of these caterpillars as their numbers are really huge. Bell then pulled out his unbreakable magic sword from his back. He began charging Argonaut on it. The others started protecting him.

Bell then swing his fully charged Magic sword on those monsters. A fearsome Tsunami of fire originated from that swing. It vaporized more than 500 caterpillar like monsters along with 3/4th of the Valgang dragons. Remaining was able to escape the fire using their wings.

Everyone's jaw dropped on that scene. The remaining dragons were taken care of Ottar, Hogni, Hedin and Aiz. Fortunately this is the first time the magic sword didn't break even after he used Argonaut on him. It was actually made by Welf and Hephaestus who worked together to make this for him.

Then they ,oved on to the 59 th floor. That place was completely covered with snow and it was really cold. Aiz and Lefiya were surprised to see that. They explained to others about how that place was before. They all wondered what had happened to that place.

Everyone spread out a little and search for any monsters. The entire area was covered with mist and snow fall. So that they can't see things clearly.

Suddenly each one of them fell into different holes as the stepped on snow at different locations. Aiz tried to get back using her wind and she didn't succeeded as the hole quickly closes that end.

Bell travelled a great distance through the hole. The light in these holes were really dim. Bell landed smoothly in a fully ice covered area. It was really cold in that area. He was shivering. He warmed himself using his own magic fire.

He found many large honeycomb like passage ways. He randomly chooses on of them and moved through them. He reached a small hallway. There he saw a monster sealed in Ice. This monster has 4 arms. It's neck and wrist covered with fur. It has got 4 eyes as well. Then suddenly the sealed ice breaks and the monster came out. Bell was frightened at the beginning but then regained his strength and began fighting.

That monster was level 7. Bell struggled really hard against it. Bell's Argonaut began to charge. It broke Bell's Ankle in the left leg and make many wounds using it's claws. Bell fell to the ground still charging the Argonaut. The monster moved closer to eat Bell. But he fired a 3 minute charged firebolt right at it's face. It's face blasted away and the monster was defeated.

Bell couldn't walk properly so crawled to a point were he find a small opening. Bell entered that small opening and took rest in that small room. He but ice on all his wounds. He don't know what to do with his angle. It was freezing cold for Bell. Luckily no monster came to get him.

After sometime a big reddish rock like structure fell to the ground. Bell thought that it would be a monster. He prepared to arms to cast a firebolt on that monster. It began closer towards Bell. He noticed that it was moving towards the fire in his hands. He understood that it was a new monster or something that needed warm. It was a red slime. It got teleported towards this region from another world.

To his surprise it talked. This startled him. The slime introduced himself as Rocky. Then Bell introduced himself as well. The explained how his companion messed with a teleportation magic. Both of them teleport elsewhere in the universe.

Bell confirmed that it has no magic stone. Bell asked Rocky about it's companion. Rocky then tell everything about his companion. Rocky noticed that Bell has many wounds. Bell explained the entire situation to Rocky. Rocky after hearing the story of the young man decided to ask Bell something. Rocky asked him whether he want to become his companion from now on.

Bell thought for a while and asked him whether it is okay for him. Rocky explained to him that he had nothing to do with a companion who is separated by galaxies. Bell then agreed to become it's companion. Rocky then entered his body thought the wound which surprised Bell. Bell's wounds got healed in an instant, his ankle got fixed in an instant, his muscles all worked up, become highly sensitive to hearing, vision smell etc.

In turn Rocky was safe inside Bell's body. He could maintain the body temperature with Bell. He can absorb nutrients from his body but only in a safe amount.

Bell then thanked Rocky for his help.Rocky could even gave advice to Bell in order to deal with various life situations. Bell and rocky started their journey to the surface. They defeated their enemies by working together.
