Malorie's POV:
"My loveeeee!!" I say, jumping on my bed. She wakes up from her nap and smiles. She throws her arms around me.
"Hi!! Hi Mal!! What are you doing here?! Oh my goodness!" She kisses me. We start to make out.
"My dads are here to talk to my mom. I'm getting put on meds, sooo." She smiles and kisses me again.
"That's amazing, Mal." She hugs me. I rest my head on her chest.
"I missed you. So much," I whisper.
"My therapist said I won't become the abuser. And.. I'm having these thoughts of hurting you because of my.. experience with Jayden.""She's right, Mal." She strokes my hair. "You know I feel safe with you, right?"
"No, I wouldn't have guessed." She pats my head.
"Quit! I'm bein genuine!"
"Yes. I know, Baylie."
"Okay. Good. And I know you'll never hurt me. And here's the thing, Mal. Ever since.. that day in the park when you saved me from Jayden, I knew.. I knew I could trust you. Like.. really trust you."
"I mean, I knew from the beginning. Because.. my sister, but.. really I- you didn't have to do that and I- I'm so grateful you did. Because now I can see other people's intentions." I look up at her.
"I don't think I'm doing that."
"Stop discrediting yourself because you don't think you can't not hurt people, Malorie."
"I guess." I rest my head back on her chest. She puts my blanket over me.
"We have to talk about it eventually, Baylie."
"We both have things we need to talk about, Mal. Just.. nap."
"Okay. Nap. Lullabies?" She chuckles and kisses my head.
"Of course." She sings me to sleep.
"Hey. Kiddo," daddy says, rubbing my back. I look at him and shake my head.
"Mm-Mm," I whisper. "Five more minutes?"
"I'm sorry, kiddo but we have to go. It takes a long time to get home!" I whimper.
"Nooo!" I whine.
"Come on! Up!" He pulls me up.
"Waittt!! Noo!" I try to lay back down. He laughs.
"Oh my god, I'm gonna have to carry you, hm?"
"Nooo!!" I say. Baylie wakes up.
"Put me down!""We gotta go, kiddo! Dad is in the car!" He says laughing.
"I don't care! Wait! Put me down let me say bye!" I say.
"Are you gonna fall back asleep?"
"No.." I lie.
"I'm gonna stand right here." He puts me down.
"Turn around!" He turns around. "Gosh." I roll my eyes and look at Baylie.
"That's so cute, I hate you," she says smiling. I kiss her.
"I hated you and look where we're at."
"You have never hated me."
"I did!"
"Me when I lie?" She kisses me again. I smile.
"Shut up and go back to sleep."
"I have homework. Can I call you so I can do it?"
"I hate bitches who ask stupid questions."
"See! There you go again! You called me a bitch twice now!"
