Chapter 17 - Forgot

There's a lot of people coming to Seokjin's family dinner. Everyone start to coming at 6pm and Seokjin is already there too. He is very welcoming to the most of his family. Jungkook become a center of attention to his uncle and aunty. And of course, Jungkook being the light and cheerful to every guest. As Seokjin busy with his family, he didn't pay attention until Jungkook ask where is his mommy and then one of his uncle ask about him. Yes, he forgot. He forgot that he didn't see him since the beginning.

Then, he excuse himself and went to somewhere a little quite to make a phone call. He makes a few attempt but it's failed. Yoongi didn't pick up his phone.

1 hour later, Seokjin meet up with Mira. His cousin greet him and he is very clingy since she didn't see Yoongi around Seokjin so she make a move.

"Hai!"

"Hai" Seokjin not interested to welcoming her

"Wow, so cold."

"Mmm.. yeah..."

"Where is he? I can't see him today."

"Who?"

"Your lovely husband of course, who else?"

Seokjin didn't answer her.

As Seokjin continue welcoming his family, his eyes keep wondering to catch Yoongi's figure but he can see him until another 15 minutes he saw him coming in. He is so angry and what makes him so annoy is Yoongi have the audacity to come tonight just wearing that.

Not having time to greet people around there, Seokjin grab his hand and go to somewhere people can heard them.

"Ouch! Seokjin! Hurt, let me go!"

"Where are you going?!"

"Going what?"

"Going what?! You asking me back! Like seriously Yoongi!"

"Of course I am. You! Where are you?"

Seokjin was surprised cause Yoongi rising his voice too. That makes him boiled and grab his neck which makes Yoongi hard to breath

"Get off!" Yoongi struggle

"Listen! You come late and now act like this! What do you think you are?!" Seokjin make his hold harder and Yoongi keep struggling

"Seok.. Seokjin.."

"Where's your phone?! So now you don't want to pick up my phone? I told you to never ever ignore my call! Why you don't understand!"

"I...Seok... Seokjin... m-my.. dea.."

Yoongi stop his sentence when he heard someone voice

"Seokjin!" It was Halmonie and Seokjin immediately loose his grip

"Seokjin, what are you doing? My god Yoongi..."

"Don't help him." Seokjin say as he say Halmoni wanted to help him

"What happened?"

Seokjin didn't answer instead, "I want you to change that clothes and come to grandpa"

Seokjin then leave

Right after that, Halmoni help Yoongi and ask what happened. She help him change his clothes and Yoongi ask to leave him alone. At first Halmoni is insisted since she look Yoongi looks pale.

"Are you okay darling?"

"Yes Halmoni" Yoongi weakly respond

"I'll be down there in a minute, don't worry." Yoongi give her assurance smile

"Okay. Halmoni will be downstairs okay? If you don't have energy, just stay here okay."

"Okay Halmoni, thank you."

As Halmoni went to downstair, she need to talk this things up with Seokjin and ask him to apologize to Yoongi.

Seokjin continue greeting and eating with the other members. Jungkook is nowhere at Seokjin's side. He know Jungkook is safe with his uncles. He also saw Yoongi greeting other family. He still mad at him and don't want to come closer to him. He is really can't see his face now. He just let Yoongi move by himself.

Right after that, he sit alone and just watching his grandpa's  guesses. This time Halmoni went to him (right now there's no Yoongi at the crowd)

"Seokjin.."

"Uh, Halmoni." Seokjin startled a bit

"Can Halmoni sit here?"

Seokjin just nodded

"Are you want to talk about just now?" Seokjin ask as Halmoni sit next to him

"Yeah.."

They silent a moment before Halmoni start their conversation

"Why you do that?"

"Halmoni..."

"You know he didn't feel well right?"

Seokjin didn't answer. And yes, he forgot

"And you forgot.."

"Forgot?"

"You mad cause he come late isn't it?"

"Who doesn't mad Halmoni? It was family dinner.."

"I know but aren't you promise to pick him up after his check up?"

Seokjin look at Halmoni and finally realize. He sigh. Regret with what he just did to Yoongi

"You forgot aren't you?"

"Halmoni.. what I have done. I forgot. B-but.. why he didn't call me? And I call him he didn't pick up"

"His battery die."

"But he can just go back himself right?"

"Seokjin... you forgot."

Seokjin curled his eyebrow as a sign he didn't get what Halmoni say

"You forgot when he comeback by himself. What you did?"

"What I did?"

"You don't remember? You scold and mad at him. You mad at him for not waiting for you cause you late to pick him up. You don't remember that. He just afraid to doing again that's why he waiting today. He's waiting for you but you. Where are you. You forgot."

"Ugh.. I'm totally forgot.

Halmoni hold his hand

"Apologize to him. He'll be fine."

"Ok..." Seokjin's word stop when he were surprised by his son's crying

"Daddy!"

"Baby? Hey.. what's wrong? Why you crying?" Seokjin immediately hug his son

"M-mommy... mom...mommy.."

"What's wrong with mommy?"

"He..he..." Jungkook can't complete his sentence cause he's messy crying

Seokjin look at Halmoni and both having a worry face
