[Chapter Summary] You spend Christmas with the boys, and their masks slip, showing you how toxic they truly are.

You sat silently as the boys wheeled you to your Blue Mazda. David professed that he forgave you, but you still felt terrible for accusing him of assault.
But what you saw and felt – you swore it was real.
If you knew anything, you knew David's touch. Touch was his love language. From gently caressing your cheek to slipping an arm around your waist and pulling you into his lap, David always touched you.
The soft caress of cool leather always sent shivers down your spine. You felt that sensation on the night of your "accident," and you felt it at the hospital, but Dr. Joel says you're hallucinating.
Am I? You mused as you eased into the front seat of your car with Dwayne's help. Am I hallucinating?
You are. A voice that was small but didn't sound anything like your own echoed in your mind.
You sniffled, and David handed you a tissue from the driver's seat.
Dwayne and Marko slid into the car behind the both of you, jostling the vehicle slightly with their weight. The movement elicited a loud mewl from Queen, alerting you to her presence.
"Queenie?" You questioned, perking up and turning your head to see the fluffy-white cat kenneled in a carrier.
She mewled when she saw your face, almost as if to say, There you are! THANK GOD you're alive! Where have you been?
You smiled, allowing her to sniff your uninjured hand between the seats. She licked your fingertips, causing you to giggle, "I missed you too, you fucking furball."
The boys joined you in laughter, your chuckles breaking the tense silence.
"Glad to hear your laugh, doll," David cooed, "you know it's music to our ears."
"I know," you replied meekly. "I just don't feel like myself right now. I feel like I'm losing my mind."
"But you aren't, Mama," Dwayne reassured, "you just have an injury. You heard Dr. Joel; all you need is some rest."
"Exactly," Marko chimed in, "we're going to have a Merry Christmas! Right Davey?"
"Right, Marko," David smirked as he turned your car over and flicked the lights before beginning the trek to the cave.
The drive was primarily silent aside from the soft tune of "Silent Night" by the Temptations on the radio. You gazed out the window, watching the streets and the gaudily decorated houses pass by.
You eventually noticed David missed the turn to your street, so you spoke up out of curiosity.
"Where are we going?" You asked, still watching the houses pass by.
"Home," David replied.
"You passed the turn," you countered, turning your head to look at him.
"Not your home, doll," he followed up, his eyes still on the road, "our home. We figured it was about time you got acquainted."
You nodded, turning to look back out the window. You had never been to the boys' house. They always met you at the boardwalk or hung out at your place. You never thought anything of it, but now in your concussed state, your anxiety was at an all-time high.
