The whisper of voices crept into your mind, rousing you from your state of unconsciousness. You groaned, grimacing in irritation as you parted your dry lips to plead for quiet. Your head was pounding, and you wanted to rest, the blissful call of sleep beckoning your aching body.
"Please," you whispered, your voice hoarse from screaming the night prior. "You're too loud."
"We're sorry, beautiful," Marko cooed as he leaned forward and stroked your cheek.
Your eyes flew open in alarm. You blink a few times, your vision focuses, and the image of cherubic features and a mischievous grin fills your vision.
Marko.
Your eyes widen in terror, and you scream, horrified to be face-to-face with your curly-haired ex-boyfriend. You flail, your limbs flying through the air.
"NO! HELP! Detective Ross!"
You squirm, wiggling your body to roll away from the blond, but he swiftly seized you, pouncing on you and straddling your waist.
"Shhh—calm down, gorgeous," Marko purred as he crouched over you.
You struggled, desperately trying to rip your wrists from his grasp. But he was unyielding, his strength too great for you to combat. It frightened you. Marko was petite. Yes, he was a man, and you knew he had strength on his side, but his hold disturbed you.
"Get off me!"
"Calm down."
"GET—"
"I SAID. CALM DOWN. BEAUTIFUL." Marko growled through gritted teeth, his cheerful expression darkening. You didn't like the look in his eyes.
You whimpered, growing still in his grip. You didn't want to challenge him.
"Good girl," Marko praised with a coo as he kissed you on your forehead and slid off the bed.
When his presence left you, you shot up, scurrying towards the headboard to get as far away from the boys as possible. You curled into a ball, thrusting your thighs into your chest and hugging your calves. You buried your head into your knees, rocking back and forth to calm yourself.
The last time you saw your four boyfriends, they held you prisoner for a week, and you struck David over the head to escape.
"Welcome back, doll," David purred as he strolled to your bed, perching beside you. "The cave hasn't been the same without you."
You sobbed, uncomfortable with him being so close even though he was inside your body two days prior.
David tutted at your discomfort, stroking your head tenderly with a gloved hand.
"How did I get here?" You asked as you timidly peered over your knees.
"Does it matter?"
"Yes! This is kidnapping!"
"I call it bonding." David quipped before snickering.
The boys followed suit, their child-like titters filling the room.
"I want to go home."
"You are home."
"This isn't home, David!"
"It is now, so you better get used to it," he muttered. "After that little stunt with your home decor, we're never letting you out of our sight again. Marko?"
