About a week and a half into Ruby and Weiss's training Christmas had arrived, the Vytal festival would take place two week's after new year's. Ruby was on her bed snoring up a small thunderstorm of sound, while Blake, Weiss, and Yang were making little noise as they slept.

A large fake Christmas tree stood in the corner by team RWBY shared desk, many present were littered under the tree awaiting to be opened by the rowdy girl's that morning. Stocking's that held candy and gift card's hung above the tree with everyone's initial's, Ruby had been practically slavering as she imagined chocolate in her stocking when they hung them up.

The winter air was downright chilly in the dorm's as Weiss unconsciously raised the temperature of the room through her body heat, Ruby was half asleep now thanks to her falling off the bed when she rolled over too far.

Her half asleep mind had noticed the heat coming off of Weiss as she walked over to the winged girl's bed, Ruby snuck into the bed by crawling under the sheet's to snuggle her face into Weiss's gifted chest. The tailed girl smiled softly as Scylla waved around watching for threats while Ruby fell asleep in her lover's heated embrace.

Roughly six hour's later Blake was the first to wake up with the ray's of dawn, the catgirl yawned with a big stretch to wake herself up. The cat faunas slowly got off her bed to head inside the bathroom, she grabbed her toothbrush to brush her teeth as she hummed a soft tune.

Though she became distracted as Ruby had started snoring again on Weiss's bed, Blake had been frustrated as her crush had been oblivious to Velvet and hers affections. Weiss had already said she doesn't want to destroy their friendship over Ruby, so that still meant they had a chance with Ruby.

Though Blake shook her head as this wasn't the day for those kind's of thing's, it was Christmas! A time for good cheer and happiness with friend's and family, not brooding over thing's that could be worried about for later!

Blake spat out the toothpaste in her mouth as she smiled into the mirror, although it was unfortunate that her parent's couldn't come to Beacon just like her entire team's families. It didn't bring her down too much as she hopped into the shower, as she turned on the hot water Yang was slowly waking up as well.

Yang looked around in a daze until her eyes fell upon the Christmas tree, a huge happy grin was plastered upon her face as one of her favorite days of the year had come. Yang had so many good memories of Christmas with her family, now she could make another happy memory with her friend's.

The sun was fully up as Yang walked over to the small kitchen their dorm had, she got out some hot chocolate mix as she put on some wonderful music to hum along to.

A/N: I wanted to curbstomp an entire middle school class for not knowing who the KING was!

Yang hummed along as she listened to the song on repeat through her scroll, the smell of the hot chocolate's she was making wafted through the dorm after she took it out of the microwave. It smelled heavenly as she went over to the small couch that was at the center of the dorm, she gave a happy sigh as she took a large sip of the hot chocolate.
