Callum's pov

"are you excited?" it was gren who spoke to me but it was my aunt who was signing "yeah definitely" I muttered 'then why do you not seem so happy?' my aunt signed I didn't respond to her "perhaps it is because you miss your girlfriend?" gren translated making me look over at them both my aunt was smiling "by your reaction I know im right so why didn't you tell your parents you were together?" gren translated "because they would have probably hurt her besides it's good for the kingdoms" came my reply 'though from what I've heard from the other party she isn't interested in this marriage either' my aunt signed making me sigh "unless you can stop this marriage then I don't know how you can help" I sighed "stop the marriage? Why?" it was my mom who spoke as she joined us in the throne room 'callum dosent want to marry this girl and she dosent want to marry him either sarai you cant force this please' my aunt signed 'then what do you expect us to do? Sister the wedding is in a few days we cant cancel' was my mom's response 'then we let him marry' was my aunts response 'the public dosent know yet who's he marrying so let him marry the girl he loves sarai' she added my mom didn't respond and looked at my aunt 'im talking about rayla' my aunt signed 'rayla? The ex guard?' my mom signed back 'yes her we already know she'll be there sarai you have to know how much they love each other' my aunt replied my mom sighed "soren go find rayla and her guardians" my mom spoke.

A while later everything had been settled "I hope your not too mad" I spoke turning to azi -who I was supposed to marry- she only smiled "not at all actually I didn't want this either but congrats to you two " she smiled looking at me and rayla "funny how I go from being invited to a wedding to it being my own wedding " she joked "funny" my mother said "I just wish you two hadn't kept this a secret from us" she added "sorry mom but we didn't know what would happen" callum spoke "no matter we have work to do to get ready for the wedding" it was opeli who spoke "right"  I spoke rayla sighed this was going to be a long few days.

Rayla's pov

It was the day of the wedding The last 4 days had been a blur of dresses hair makeup and everything else it made me glad everything else had been taken care of. I sighed as I stood in front of my mirror "you look like your mother"  a voice spoke making me jump but I spotted ethari in the mirror "makes me wish she was here" I whispered "I know but you know they'd be proud of you rayla" he spoke "I know..." i sighed. "either way it's not a time to be sad" I spoke smiling at myself ethari was right I did look like my mom.

Most of the ceremony was a blur to me as I stood there looking at callum "now do you rayla take callum to be your husband?" the priest asked "I do" I spoke "and callum do you take rayla to be your wife?" he asked "I do" he spoke "then by the power invested in me I now pronounce you husband and wife" he spoke "you may kiss the bride" he added I felt myself relax as I was pulled into a kiss, nothing else mattered in that moment because I had what I wanted I had my -now- husband "not bad for a couple people who only knew each other for a year" I joked making him laugh "yeah but I wouldn't have it any other way" he spoke his arms wrapped around me "me neither callum" I spoke.

The rest of the day was uneventful all that really happened was we had several people congratulating us our families were happy -not so much that we lied- and we were happy we didn't have to hide from anyone...once everything was over I headed to the room with callum letting myself fall onto the bed with a sigh of relief "you ok?" callum asked "yeah im perfect actually" I replied as he laid next to me and I put my hand on his shoulder as he wrapped an arm around me. "I wish my parents had been there" I whispered "I know rayla" he whispered kissing my head "come on it's been a long day we need sleep" he added.
