-Odette's POV- (Age 6)

I was playing in a field of flowers, making flower crowns when a brunette girl walked up to me. She blocked the sunlight as I looked up at her. She smiled at me as I smiled back at her. "Hi! You want to play?" I asked as I stood up, putting a flower crown on the girl's head. She giggled.

"Sure," she answered as we sat down on the grass. She grabbed a flower as I tried to teach her how to make flower crowns. "I'm Bella," she introduced herself. I smile widely. "I'm Odette," I answered, with a toothy smile. "You want to be my friend?" Bella asked me.

My face lit up as she said that. "Yea," I answered. "Only if you agree to be my friend?" "Yea," Bella giggled as we continued to play. As the sun began to set, a family member came to pick us up.  "Bella," a woman, her mother, knelt next to us. "It's time to go now." Bella's face was saddened.

"But I don't want to leave Odette," Bella whined. "She's my friend." "You can meet her again," her mother answered. "If it is okay with her parents." My older sister, age 8, Christine knelt next to us as she smiled. Bella's mother looked slightly confused yet sad.

"We can meet again tomorrow. Is that okay?" Christine asked. "It would be great," Bella's mom agreed.  Bella and I smiled at each other as we got up. We hugged each other. We waved goodbye to each other.

-Years later-

Bella and I continued our friendship as we did everything together. We didn't have many friends at school, since Bella's an introvert. Even though I was more outgoing than her. I'm known as the weird girl. The child.

A few months after we turned seventeen, Christine had to go to college so she decided to move me to Forks, Washington. Lot of fun stuff to do. Like dancing in the rain. I'll be staying with Bella and her father, Charlie since Bella decided to move in with her dad as she wanted Renee to stay with Phil and to be closer to us.

I was helping Christine put the last few suitcases into the trunk of her rental car

I was helping Christine put the last few suitcases into the trunk of her rental car. The pieces of furniture and our cars are now heading to Forks. As I closed the trunk door, Christine went back inside as she wanted to do some last-minute run-through of the house, to not leave anything behind. I chuckled as I stretched my muscles and saw Bella at the end of the cul-de-sac.

I put a flower crown on my head and grabbed one for Bella as I walked over to her as picked up a barrel cactus. She didn't notice me coming up to her. She has long, dark hair with the same alabaster skin as me. I have red hair with blue eyes. Bella has brown hair.

We may seem like unlikely friends as Bella is an introverted girl and I am more of an extrovert. But we're perfect. "BELLA!" I shrieked as I jumped on her. The crowns laying on our heads. "Odette!" Bella gasped in fear, trying to hold me up on her back. "Whatcha doing?" I asked her, giggling.

"What does it look like I am doing?" Bella asked. "Bringing a cactus to a rainy area," I answered as I looked at the cactus. "You know you don't need to bring it since it doesn't need that much water." "I know," Bella sighed. "It can bring some good memories for me." I sigh happily as I hugged her.

"Sounds good," I agreed, getting off her. We headed back to our houses. We lived next to each other. Renee walked outside and pointed her phone at us. "It won't work again, baby," she told us. "You put it on hold," Bella smiled. "I did?" Renee asked.

"Look. You also called Mexico," I answered as Renee pushed us playfully.  We all laughed. Christine locked the door of the house and walked over to us.  "Ready?" Christine asked. I look at her. "Ready to go with Bella as you go to college in Italy with your new hot boyfriend? What was his name? Jay" I laughed as Christine rolled her eyes.

We turned our heads back to Renee. "I'll figure it out. You gotta be able to call me and Phil on the road," Renee sighed. "Very romantic," Bella smiled. Phil exited the house, carrying Bella's three suitcases with ease. "If you call crappy motels, backwater towns, and ballpark hot dogs romantic,"

Phil joked as he put his Phoenix Desert Dogs baseball hat on Renee's head with a kiss.  His love for her reassured Bella. Phil headed to the old station wagon to load the luggage, while Christine and Renee slipped their arm through our arms, clinging to us as we walked to the cars.

"Now, you know if you change your mind, I'll race back here from wherever the game is," Renee answered.  Although her strained expression told Bella what a great sacrifice that would be, Bella, forced a smile. "We won't change our mind, mom," Bella told her. "I know, baby," Christine laughed.

"But you might. You've always hated Forks." "It's not about Forks, it's about Dad. I mean, two weeks a year, we barely know each other," Bella answered. "Besides, Bells probably won't survive without me," I say as I winked playfully at her. "Hey!" She exclaimed as Christine and Renee laughed.

Despite the laughter, Renee's still worried. "Mom, I want to go. I'll be fine," Bella told her. "Goldie will be there if something happens." "You don't need to worry about Bella,"  Christine agreed. "I see Bella as another sister. I believe they're both okay" Renee smiled as she hugged Bella.

Christine and I headed to her car and got in. Phil pulled out his car as we followed them to the airport. Christine and I checked in as Bella followed us. I hugged Christine as we went on our separate flights. We soon got on our plane. When we arrived, Bella had fallen asleep.

I leaned in and slowly pulled her earbud out. I pulled out my phone and opened the camera app. I hit record as I softly screamed in her ear, making her jump up, scared. I laughed as Bella glared at me. "I got it on camera!" I whooped as I danced in the aisle.

Bella shook her head as we grabbed our carry-ons. We both got off the plane and we headed to baggage claim age. Bella and I walked out of the terminal as we saw Charlie waving for us. Bella hugged him as we got into his car. It was a very awkward situation.

Looking out the window, I watched the scenery change. I sighed as I saw the Forks sign. It read: "The City Of Forks Welcomes You - Pop. 3246."
