-Jasper's POV-

Everyone began screaming, yelling as some called for help. Some leap Tyler's aid, and others run to Bella and Edward. Bella saw the onion ground, smashed as she would have been. She looked at Odette as everyone swept the van back.

-Bella's POV-

Jasper pushed Odette into someone's arms as he left. I nodded my thanks to him for saving my best friend. "Are you okay!? Are you hurt?!" Mike asked me. "What happened!? Did anyone see what happened?!" Eric asked others

Amid the chaos, I saw the other Cullens looking at Edward and Jasper. But they showed no hint of concern for their safety. Instead, they look at them with disapproval and fury. The ambulance came as the Paramedics placed Odette on the stretcher. I sat in the ambulance as I held Odette's hand.

She was slightly cold as she laid there.  When we arrived, they took Odette to the X-Ray area. Once I sat on a stretcher, the double doors bursted open as Charlie runs in, face white with terror. He spots me sitting, the E.R. doctor looking into my eyes with a pen light.

On the next gurney over, Tyler, the van's driver, laid with a mild head wound. Charlie rushed up. "Bells. Are you alright?" He asked. "Were you able to get anything on Odette?" "I'm fine, dad. Calm down," I replied. "I don't know if she's going to wake up soon. I'm in the dark as you are."

"I'm so sorry, Bella. I tried to stop," Tyler asked. "It's okay, Tyler," I answered. "It sure as hell is not okay," Dad shot back. "Dad, it's not his fault," I started to say. "We nearly lost you two," Dad sighed. That was when Odette and a nurse came into the ER.

"She's going to be fine," I sighed in relief. "She doesn't have a concussion. She fainted from the shock of the accident." "That's good," Odette softly spoke up.

-Odette's POV-

Charlie hugged me a little too tightly

Charlie hugged me a little too tightly.  "Can't breath, Charlie!" I whined as he pulled back. Charlie glared at Tyler. "You can kiss your license goodbye," Charlie scolded him. "I heard the Chief's daughter and her friend are here," Someone spoke up. We looked up as Dr. Carlisle Cullen approached.
