Chapter 2: Accidents Happen

(Ava's POV)
Before we knew it, everyone was finished checking in. Colleen and Rachel came to the middle of the campsite. Colleen took out a megaphone.
"Okay guys, please get everyone from your cabin in the middle and sit in a circle," she announced.
Ariana and I brought some kids from our cabin to the middle and we joined the circle.
"As you guys know, all 72 of you are very lucky. You guys were lucky enough to register faster than everyone else and know you have the opportunity to be here," Colleen continued. "We're going to explain the everyday plan first and then we'll play a game to get to know everyone."
I couldn't stop smiling. Some kids started talking, until Rachel stopped them.
"Everyday, we will wake you guys up at approximately 8:30 AM. Rachel and I will come into your cabins and tap you until you wake up. But don't worry, we wont slap you. Then, we will all eat breakfast right here. We'll set up tables. Next, you guys can either play sports or go swimming. When Josh comes, Josh will watch you guys and you can play whatever sport you want. We will have kickballs, basketballs, soccer balls, and more. Rachel will set up organized games of varieties of sports. I will be by the pool. After that, we'll eat lunch over here. Then, we'll all go to the pool. Afterwards, we'll take showers and eat dinner. After that, we'll have a campfire over here in the middle. At 10:45, we get ready for bed. At 11:00, Rachel, Josh, and I will come to your cabins to check on you guys and say goodnight," Colleen explained.
Colleen gave Rachel the megaphone and began to talk.
"Okay, now we're going to play a game," she began. "Sit in a circle with just the people in your cabin. You guys will take turns saying your name, favorite food, favorite color, favorite sport, and favorite hobby. Then, each cabin must find one thing that everyone in the cabin has in common and we will share it. Got it?"
"Yeah!" Everyone screamed.
We got in a circle and went around. It was my turn.
"Hi, my name is Ava, my favorite food is sushi, my favorite color is blue, I don't really like sports, but if I had to pick it would be soccer, and my favorite hobby is watching YouTube. DUH!" I said.
Once I said that, everyone laughed and agreed. Then, it was Ariana's turn.
"Hi, I'm Ariana. My favorite food is pizza, my favorite color is purple, my favorite sport is gymnastics, and my favorite hobby is also watching YouTube," Ariana said.
Then, our group talked for a while and we found out that we all like Dance Moms. Colleen took out the megaphone and started talking again.
"Okay, time to share!" she said "Let's start with Cabin A."
We shared and then Rachel and Colleen took everyone to our cabins to change to go in the pool. Once everyone in our cabin was done, we walked outside and told Colleen we were done. We had towels and goggles. Once every cabin was done, we walked to the pool. There was a big and deep pool and there was a small shallow pool. There was also a very deep diving pool. Ariana and I went to the diving pool, and no one else did. Colleen stayed by the diving pool to make sure we didn't get hurt. Ariana went first and flipped in. Colleen clapped when she came out. I attempted a flip, but I started too far away from the water and slammed my head on the diving board. The last thing I heard was Colleen's scream.
