(Ava's POV)
I sat down next to Ariana and a girl from Cabin B. Everyone got up and got sticks and marshmallows from a table near the check-in cabin. I put my marshmallow in the fire until it was on fire. I took it out and blew the fire out. I got graham crackers and some chocolate. I was the first one to finish roasting my marshmallow because everyone else was trying to make theirs perfect. I ate my s'more and washed my hands and face at the cabin. I came back to the middle of the site and sat down with everyone. I was already full, so I didn't make another s'more.
"You don't want another?" Colleen asked me.
"No thanks, I'm already pretty full," I said.
"Okay," Colleen replied.
My eyelids started to feel real heavy. I fell asleep for a second until Ariana noticed and shook me and laughed. I fell asleep again for 5 minutes. I woke up and I was sitting next to Colleen. Luckily, I didn't miss anything because people were still making s'mores.
"Wait, how did I end up here?" I asked Colleen.
"Rachel helped me carry you over here, just incase we had to wake you up, or if you fell asleep and we had to take you to your cabin," Colleen explained.
"Oh, ok," I said. I was so embarrassed.
I watched the fire and my eyes started to close again. I immediately opened them. Colleen hugged me from the side and my head fell on her shoulder. I slowly fell back asleep...
[THE NEXT DAY]
I woke up in my bed. I thought about what Colleen must've thought when I fell asleep last night. I checked my phone and then I heard the door open. I looked down from my bed. It was Colleen and Rachel.
"You woke up early today!" Colleen said.
"Yeah, well I did go to sleep early yesterday," I said. "I don't know why I was so tired."
"We did do a lot yesterday," Colleen replied.
Rachel and Colleen walked around the room and woke everyone up.
"Today we're having the party!" Colleen exclaimed. "I'll be back, I'm going to go wake all the other cabins up."
I quickly re-did my ponytail and climbed down from my bed and hugged them both. We said bye and I started to get ready.
