Liam chewed on an apple as he walked around the station. He was in a world of his own until he bumped into the back of someone.
"Sorry." He apologised.
"It's all good man." Dean smiled, then turning back to the scene in front of them.
Liam also looked with furrowed brows, as Andy laid into Jack about something he had approved last shift.
"What's going on?" Liam whispered, as Andy kept ranting.
"Herrera is laying into Jack about the new boots he approved." Dean answered, Liam nodding slowly.
"It's a big expense, Jack." Andy says, "The kind of decisions co-captains might discuss and eventually cosign, unless one of the captains thought they no longer had to discuss decisions with the other captain because he felt he was somehow already captain."
Liam stared stunned, slowly chewing on his apple as Andy stormed back into the captain's office. All of that over some new boots.
"Just boots, Herrera." Jack calls to her back, "Just boots." He follows her into the office. The rest are left standing in reception, staring at the two's back's as they walk into the office.
"I don't like to talk-" Whatever Andy was saying was cut off with the slam of the door.
"You think we won't get the new boots now?" Dean asked, a slight sadness to his tone.
"I wouldn't risk it." Liam says.
"No, new boots are not worth this." Vic eyes widen, brows raised, ""They've been bickering all week."
"I can hear them from the gym. With headphones on." Liam mumbles.
Vic turns to Maya, "Bishop, you speak Herrera. Go make it stop." She gestures to the office door.
"Well, she is tired of me interfering." Maya says, "She told me to back off. You were there."
Liam frowns. What happened between Andy and Maya?
Maya's phone starts ringing, the blonde taking it from her pocket. "I'm backing." She picks up the phone and walks away from the group.
"Oh, no don't back." Vic pleads, talking to Maya as she walks away, "Don't back. Backing is bad."
Maya ignores her as she walks away and talks on the phone.
Vic throws her arms up, turning to the other men beside her. All eyes weer still on the office door, where arguing could still be heard.
"I'm not getting in the middle of that." Travis shakes his head.
"Nah, I'm good. Mm-mmm" Dean says.
"I like my head attached to my shoulders." Liam mumbles.
Vic glares at them all.
