It has now been a year or two since Liam joined station 19. In his time with the team, they had gained two new members: Victoria 'Vic' Hughes, the newest out of them, having only joined a few months ago. And Travis Montgomery, who had transferred from a different station.

Stuff with him and Maya have gotten less awkward now. They got used to seeing each other every day after being apart for a long time. That's not to say it's good, Liam knows she still loves and respects their Dad, whilst he despises the man. Liam had asked about Mason at one point, and his heart dropped when he heard how their brother had OD'd the day Maya won a Olympic gold medal, (He also congratulated her on that achievement). Maya had said she saw him a few times, but their little brother wasn't particularly happy to see her.

Liam had ended up bonding with a few of the crew. Him and Dean shared laughs over chilly. Him and Jack gave each other shit over small competitions. Though, he has to say, the members he's closest to are Vic and Travis. He enjoys Vic's happy and funny attitude, and finds it amusing when she teases Travis. And he likes Travis for his seriousness on the job, and how he cares for his friends.

The two also like Liam's company, accepting him into their duo, making them a trio. Vic enjoys poking fun at Liam's  stoicism, and trying to make the blue-eyed guy smile. Travis likes Liam's dedication to the job, and knows he can rely on the man to have his back.

It was another shift, and Liam was trying to get some rest in the bunks when the klaxon went off. Groaning, he jumps outta the bed, and jogs into the barn, quickly shoving his turnouts on and hopping into the engine.

He sits quietly, adjusting his jacket and putting on his gloves. They stop, and Liam glances at the house which is emitting smoke. There are a few civilians on the street, staring at the fire. Hopping out of the engine, Liam grabs his oxygen tank and mask, tightening his helmet to his head.

"I know you all know this, but I'm still gonna say it." Captain Pruitt calls to the team, "Contain the flame and get the hell out!"

"Laminar smoke flow, small chance of flash over." Andy informs. "My guess is the back of the house."

"Hey, Gibson." Pruitt calls out, as Jack goes to run in the house, "You in a hurry? I haven't even given the plan yet."

"Just ready to get in there, sir." Jack says.

Liam smiles and shakes his head, knowing the lieutenant is known for going in head first.

"Miller, partner with Gibson." Pruitt orders.

"You got it." The man says, rushing after Gibson.

"Andy, you and the Bishop's handle search and rescue."

Liam nods, following after the two women. Putting on his O2 mask, and turning on his flashlight. He follows behind Maya in the smoke filled rooms.

"Entryway's clear." Maya calls, putting her hand to the wall, "Left wall, check."
