It was now 6:00 pm. I was bored, so just decided to do some homework. After I finished, I just put in my headphones and started doodling in my notebook.

Hearts, stars, random lines, fictional characters, random poses, and...

Moon

First, I'd draw chibi versions, then sketches, I then pulled out my sketchbook and started a full drawing.

"Y/n, dinner's ready."

"Ok."

I take my headphones out and close my sketchbook with the half colored drawing. I walk past my mom, who was standing at the doorway, and walk downstairs.

"It's a mess in here..."

I walk in and start picking up the trash that was on the floor, and putting it in the trash can.

As I was cleaning, I caught a glimpse of a book that was on her desk. Out of curiosity, I pick it up and open to a random page.

"She's so creative with original character designs~"

"Mom, I'm gonna go to the book store."

"Ok. Be careful. Bye."

"Bye."

"Oh sorry- Payton?"

She lets out a small gasp at the sight of me. I take out one of my headphones so I could hear better.

"What ar-"

"What was that thing..."

She suddenly interrupts me before I could say anything.

"What?"

"You know what I'm talking about... That thing from that night. What was it..."

"A friend of mine."

"I never see you with anyone..."

"I'm with him after school hours."

"That was no human... Even in the dark, I could tell."

That's when I started to panic. I'm not really good at lying, and I don't know how I could make an excuse when she saw Moon clear as day.

"A trick of the eye. You might wanna get that checked."

I learned from the pros~

She lets out an irritated groan and takes a step away from me, but doesn't walk away.

"I'm moving."

"What?"

"I'm moving first thing tomorrow morning. You won't see me anymore."

"Really..."

She nods her head and puts her hand in her pocket, then pulls out...
