I sat across from my mom as I take the first bite of my breakfast.

"Hm... You seem happier then usual Y/n."

"Huh?"

I lift my head and look at her confused.

"You were always a little down since you didn't have any friends, but you seem different lately. You made a new friend?"

"Well... Yeah."

Her expression lights up and she gives me a small smile.

"What's there name?"

"Ummm... He doesn't like his personal information shared to random people..."

"Hm... Ok. Tell me about him."

"Uhhhh... He's funny, kind, really tall too, seems mean but is really nice, and he also helps me with work."

She chuckles and starts eating her breakfast.

"I recognize that smile~"

"What?"

I hadn't even noticed I was smiling the whole time I was describing Moon.

"Nothing. It just brings back memories of when I was in highschool~"

"What memories?"

"High school crush."

'Cough cough'

"Y/n are you ok?"

"Y-yup... Just choked on food."

I gain my composure after almost dying.

"What's that supposed to mean?!"

"It just reminds me when I got a crush on my friend."

My face grows bright red as I struggle to speak.

"B-but he's just m-my friend! I-I don't h-have a...a-a..."

She chuckles and stands up, patting my head as she walks behind me and to the sink.

I cover my red face with my hands and almost screamed, but didn't. I wanted to yell out 'He's a robot' or 'He's my friend' or maybe even 'He doesn't think the same way'. But...

Is that last part really true...?

Time skip

My mom asked why I went to school way earlier then it starts. I said I just wanted to walk around a little. Who knew that would work.

"Moon?"

I call out his name as I step foot on the roof, and enter his room.

"It seems darker then usual in here..."

I suddenly feel the air knocked out of when someone grabs the collar of my shirt and pins me to the wall.

"Wha- Moon?!"

"Oh. Sorry little star. I thought you were someone else."

He takes a small step away, but doesn't let go of my shirt. But, I didn't notice at first.

"What do you mean someone else?"

"Not too long ago, I saw that new girl Maya up here. I guess I was a little on edge."

"Oh ok."

I try to walk somewhere, but just now notice he was still holding the collar of my shirt.

"Uhhhh... Can you let go?"

"Hm? Why?"

He leans down with a smirk and pulls me close to his face.

"There's nothing wrong with being with me~ Naughty girl trying to get away from me~"

"U-uhhhh... I-I..."

He bursts out laughing and lets go of me.

"Oh you're so fun to tease sweetheart!~"

He was laughing like a child while I just stood there, wide eyed, red faced, and wobbly legged.

I bring my shaky hands up to my cheeks and feel how warm they were. I let out a small squeak when I feel cold hand on mine, which were still on my cheeks.

"Darling? You seem to be on edge as well. Is something on your mind?"

"N-no. No."

He raises his eyebrow and leans closer with a skeptical look.

"Are you sure?"

"Y... Yes."

"Hmmm..."

'Ding ding ding'

"You best be leaving now."

He leads me to the door and hugs me before I leave. But, I didn't leave yet.

"Dewdrop wait."

"Huh?"

He walks up to me and makes sure I had all my things and I was ready to go.

"All seems well~"

"Why'd you have to check?"

"This is high school honey. You can never be too careful~"

He leans down and kisses my cheek. Wait... Not cheek...

"Buh bye now!~"

And he just slams the door in my face.

I put my hand over my mouth and scream. They were muffled, so no one would hear them.

Moon pov

"What were you doing on the roof?"

"Huh? I was just walking around."

"On the roof...?"

She lets out a quiet scoff so I wouldn't hear. As I was looking elsewhere, I hadn't noticed her giving me a skeptical look. Like she didn't believe me.

I did have a weird feeling when I was on the roof... I'll check after school.
