Now that I know what that feeling is, I can't focus on anything. Schoolwork, talking, eating, and especially walking the halls.

I clutch my textbook close to my chest as I look at all the doors in the hall, wondering which one he could be in.

I flinch once I feel a tap on my shoulder. But, I turn around and see a boy with black hair and glasses over his grey eyes.

"Did you see it?"

...

"What?"

"The thing in the halls after school. You saw it right?"

"Uhhhh... Yeah."

He lets out a small hum and just walks away.

"That was weird..."

Time skip to 3:00 pm

'Ding ding ding'

"Finally. Now I can go home and eat f/f."

(That reminds me, I'm gonna eat noodles now)

I close my locker and start walking through the very crowded hall. The door was pretty far from my classroom, so it would take a while, especially with all these other people here.

"Sorry. Pardon me. Excuse me. Excu- WOAH"

Suddenly, someone grabs my arm and pulls me in the guidance counselor office. Well, it WAS one, until he quit. The school still hasn't found a replacement yet.

"Hey! What are y- Oh... Nice to see you Payton..."

She smiles innocently and waves to me. God, I hate how nice she acts when she's about to kill me and hide my body under the floor boards of the gym.

That was the first and only thing she said to me. She also said that after she told me her favorite book was The Tell Tale Heart.

"Feel free to burn my backpack... It's got holes in it anyway."

"Oh, no."

Usually when she talks, it means she's planning to do something very traumatic and life changing to me.

(It isn't traumatic, but it's definitely life changing~)

"Don't worry. You'll get out by tomorrow morning."

Her monotone voice just adds the suspense. Especially when she picks up a plant while staring at me with her ruby red eyes. Maybe even blood red eyes.

"U-uhhhh... What are you doing...?"

She then throws the plant at the wall behind me, barely missing my face.

I turn my head to the mess she made, ten back at Payton. But, by the time I looked at her, she ran up to me with a table lamp and hits me really hard on the head.

Then everything went black

'Groan'

"Huh...? My head..."

I groggily sit up and look around the room. It was dark all around. And the lamp was beside me. It had some sort of liquid on it.

Wait...

I out my hand up to my forehead, then look at it. Yup. There was blood.

Realizing my situation, I quickly get up and try to open the door.
