Y/n pov

The days have been going by pretty quickly. Especially when hanging out with Moon, but that's because we're having fun. My science teacher said something about that once.

If time goes faster when we're having fun, and time goes slower when we're not, doesn't that mean we can basically control time? Is there a way to use it on command for our own goals?

No matter, it's not like I'll be seeing him anymore. It's not like I'll be seeing anyone anymore actually.

Graduation...

It's today...

It's right now in fact...

I stand in the long line of students in their graduation gowns and hats. I decided to wear a dark blue one to honor a certain someone~

And also because it was the only one I had...

The principal calls out the names of the students one by one, giving them their diplomas, taking a picture, and shaking all the teacher's hands.

Then once they step off that podium, they've turned into 'responsible adults'. Knowing the chumps here, they're FAR from responsible...

Moon's words, not mine.

Maybe mine too...

The line was moving slowly but surely getting smaller and smaller the more names the principal called.

"Nancy Walsh."

She graduated?! How?!

"Cory Davis."

He barely attended class!

"Shawn Roberts."

Short stack Shawn? The 10 year old that skipped a bunch of grades?

"Montgomery Quagmire."

That sounds like a reference...

"Angela Smith."

She got suspended at the beginning of the year...

Time is just getting slower and slower... It's gotten to the point where I feel like they won't even say my name.

"Y/n L/n."

Scratch that.

I walk up to the podium and shake the hands of all the teachers. Most giving me proud smiles.

I walk up to the principal to get my diploma. As my hand is on it, I look at the camera man so he could take the picture. As I did, I scanned the crowd of families. My mom was there in the front row, taking a video with a big smile.

I walked off and I felt...

Not different at all. Not what I expected...

"Y/n!~"

My mom runs up to me and hugs me tight. The tightest she's ever hugged me.

"I'm so proud of you!~ Soon you'll be... Going to college~"

"Yeah~ Thanks mom~"

She insisted she take a bunch of pictures of me. It's not like I could say no, she would just take the pictures anyway.

Soon after they call all the students, the principal goes up to the mic and says a few words. I wasn't really listening that well though.

"And congratulations class of 2035~"

Everyone cheers as we all take off our hats and throw them in the air. Despite the happiness I was feeling, time was slow. And that was when a certain hat caught my eye.
