The next morning, the girl had hurriedly gotten ready, neglecting to spend any time on her makeup or hair, and dragged her brother by the strings of his hoodie in order to get to school as early as she could. She'd had to promise him that she would buy him a donut and coffee after school, when his protests resulted in her nearly falling over by refusing to move. And with that, they were off.
When she'd burst through the doors of school, she was forced to fight through the crowds of students (even though they got there at least ten minutes earlier than normal) in order to get to her destination. The loud noises caused her to shove her headphones in her ears and blare whatever was last playing, in hopes of also calming down her frazzled nerves. It took her three minutes of pushing apologetically through groups of friends and dodging passers-by to get there.
With a hesitant hand outreaching, she pushed up the latch on the locker in front of her, and swung the door open to peer inside. She found it empty, just as she'd figured, despite a few books and folders that were arranged neatly on the shelf. Pale Eyes closed the locker quickly, making a loud bang, and then she sank to the ground in front of it, leaning her head on the cool metal; enjoying the melody of the song that was filling her head.
The girl sat, waiting with partial patience, drumming her fingers against the side of her leg; until finally, she saw who she was waiting for approaching her.
Soon, the boy saw her resting there, and when he came to his locker, he stared down at her; with a worried look set upon his strong features. The girl slowly took her headphones out; gazing up at him between her lashes. Neither said anything, but Rosy Cheeks extended his hand down to her, examining every inch of her face as she carefully twined her fingers with his.
When she was on her feet again, she merely stepped directly in front of him, wrapped her arms around his waist and pulled him till the side of her head was resting against his chest; until she could hear, feel, his heartbeat which was pulsing rapidly under his skin.
He placed his head a top hers, carefully resting one hand on the middle of her back and the other in her hair to keep her as close as he could. He embraced her so tightly; as if she were the glue keeping his fragile mind together; and she hugged him like she wasn't anything less than that.
So the two stood there, while the chaos of their peers echoed, roared, around them in the hallways; acting if nothing else mattered but each other at that moment.
And he kissed the top of her head, so grateful that she didn't say a word.

Bella's note: So eh?? Idk about this... it seems like I can't write as good as I used to. I feel like it's lacking the intricacy that it used to in the beginning chapters. When I'm finished writing this whole thing, I'm going in and doing some major editing so that it feels more complete and mine :)

But, you will (like I said, if the title reads closed) need to instead of using the usual question for the password, answer what your favorite part of Rosy Cheeks has been and I will gladly accept as a thanks for reading.
That's all for now, sorry for the long note!
