Chapter Eleven: Betrayal

With the Warhammer baring down on Zeke, he began to panic, he was running out of titans to use. To make things worse for him, another sound of metallic realing appeared above the two titan shifters.

"YOU?!" Zeke yelled as he looked at the Ackerman who was covered in blood in horror. Iden looked to their right to see Levi coming up fast. He striked Iden's nape immediately only to be blocked by a hand in the way. Iden reached out for him but only swatted him out the way instead of injuring him. They then resumed chase on Zeke who now had his hand to his mouth. Iden immediately stopped and backed away just in time for the amber firey light and thunder to appear.

*THUMP*

Zeke was now in his beast titan form and he grabbed for the titan who was carrying him. He began to rip the limbs off one by one and throw them around to try and hit Levi and Iden. Iden stopped and watched, unimpressed as they batted the arms and legs away. The Warhammer titan began to form it's signature giant Warhammer, purest white with beautiful carvings of the titan itself inscribed in.

With one swipe the beast titans left arm was ripped off with the brute force of the hammer as Zeke tried to shield his face with his left hand. Levi then took the lead and wrapped his wires around the beast titan and cut everywhere. Whilst the two were distracted, Iden watched as they leaned against a tree to regain some energy for when they were up against the winner of the current duel.

After watching intentively, Iden saw Zeke's human body exposed and immediately swatted Levi away followed by a wave of formed titan shards coming his way for good measure. Iden ripped Zeke out of his nape and tore his limbs off so he couldn't transform again any time soon. Iden turned their heads slightly to see Levi coming back full force, they began to run away immediately and guarded their nape.

"HEY BRAT! GIVE HIM BACK!" Levi yelled out of hot tears. Iden raised their left hand and formed a middle finger curse at him as they picked up speed. Levi growled and threw his damaged blades at them before equipping new ones. He then began catching up and slicing at Iden's Achilles, spine and wrists. Iden fell onto their knees, guarding their nape and Zeke at the same time.

"What?" Iden asked through their titan, their voice haunting and deep, like a siren. Levi stopped on a tree to catch his breath that he ever so needed.

"He's mine" he panted. Iden's giant eyes stared at him, looking like the sad drama face.

"I apologize, but I really need him" Iden responded.

"No way, not everything he's done!" Levi shouts then pounces towards the Warhammer titan again, this time cutting their wrist off that held the hammer. The hammer fell to the ground, the severed wrist still clenched into it. Iden looked sadly at the wrist then to Levi again who changed positions frantically, avoiding being seen in the shadows, and it worked.

"I have a mission, I'm sure a military man like you understands" Iden says. Levi doesn't respond but slashed their jaw, making it fall one sided.

"DAMN YOU!" He finally yelled and aimed for their eyes. Iden looked up last second and caught Levi after letting go of Zeke for a moment. "ARGH!" he spat as the air was robbed from his lungs with Iden's unforgiving grip. Iden brought him to their face. Levi couldn't move, he tried so much but he was completely pinned, and one squeeze away from death, and he knew it.

Levi's eyes stayed on the Warhammer's dull, unmoving eyes. Without his consent, his mind began rummaging through memories of his passed comrades. Is this the end? He thought, he was going to die alone.

"Why do you want him?" Iden asked, bringing him out of his thoughts, slurring their words slightly due to the broken jaw.

"I want... Him to die a horrible death for all he's done..." He struggled to say with the grip on him like a boa constrictor. "He can't see Eren..." He added.
