"Gabi what happened?" Iden asked as she showed up behind Gabi. Gabi was in hysterics.
"Rubble took her out! I don't think she's alive!" She cried. Iden looked at Annie, she was completely out of it and part of her head was bludgeoned, most of her left side was crushed and she wasn't regenerating. Iden immediately took Annie from Gabi and carried her bridal style through the commotion and to a quieter place. Iden dropped her down and checked for a pulse.
*Whiz!*
Scouts flown past the rooftops above them. Iden pushed themselves and Annie closer to the wall as they saw them, their brows crossing at the sight of them.
"Shit" Iden says before looking back at Annie. Iden didn't have the titan serum, Magath did. She had a pulse, but it was weak. Iden didn't have the time to try and figure out what was wrong with Annie so she opened a window next to her and lifted Annie up and lay her down inside the building. Iden got back out then began to run down the streets towards the battlefield. By the time they got there, Eren's titan was strung up on a large pole and Lara's titan had formed. Iden then looked up on a rooftop to see Magath and a bunch of Marleyan soldiers with guns watching the fight. Iden flew up towards them with their gear, landing by Magath.
"Iden?" He asked shocked.
"Do you have any more titan serum?" Iden asked.
"Just the one on me now, why?" He asked them.
"I'm afraid Leonhart looks wiped out, I need to give the female titan to Gabi now or we risk losing the titan if Leonhart dies before" Iden says. Magath thinks for a moment.
"I...see..." He says, he then reaches into his pocket for the serum. He then puts it back in his pocket.
"I need this one for Willy, he's in bad shape" Magath says.
"Of course, where is he?" Iden asks.
"Three o clock building" he says. Iden then looks to the building east of them. Iden shoots off and heads towards where they last left Annie. As they fly through the sky, a bullet whizzes past their face, knocking them off balance and crashing down on the nearest roof top. Iden looks up to see Levi Ackerman on the same roof, feet away. He looks down at them, eyes cold from both parties.
"You..." Iden says frustrated as they slowly push themselves up.
"Long time no see...brat" he says then pulls a clip out of a grenade and drops it before jumping off the roof. Iden scrambles up and turns to run, the bomb exploding and causing Iden to be pushed off the roof by the force of it. Iden managed to land on a lower roof with a few cuts and burns. Iden immediately gets up and lunges towards Levi. They crash together and Iden's swords scratch Levi's as they smash swords together.
"Rgh!" Iden growls as they scrap.
"Take his gear off" Levi growls back.
They fight and roll about for another ten seconds before another scout intervenes. Iden immediately attacks the scout, cutting his throat open and almost decapitating him, they then lunge at Levi again and slash at his thigh, sending blood in the air. They both land and face each other for a moment.
"You...little brat..." He huffs in pain, pressing his hand against his cut. Iden stands at the ready with blades pointing towards him, soundless.
*BOOM BOOM BOOM*
Bullets fired all over the place, taking out multiple scouts and obliterating them. The two rivals looked to see Pieck in the Cart titan firing by the Panzer unit. Iden then used this distraction to slip away, Levi seeing them leave and following after them.
