You both hurry to school. Edwin was kind of annoyed that he forgot his back pack at your place but he'll just have to get it after school... Luckily he has friends who can help him with the stuff he needs for class. You both were quiet the entire time, but it wasn't an awkward silence. As a matter of fact, you both felt pretty comfortable next to each other even after last night. You thought you'd be more shy around him, but you actually feel happy next to him. It's a shame you both couldn't be together... You weren't risking it with all the bullying already. You really didn't want it to be any worse.
Once you both get to the gates, Edwin pats your head. "Whelp, I'll see you later, ok?" He smiles at you and you blush a tiny bit. "Y-yeah." You smile shyly and quickly head into the school. Edwin stands there for a while and watches you enter the building. It's not like being late to class or skipping class was uncommon for him. He's not a bad student, but sometimes he really needs a damn break...
Edwin sighs and turns towards the road. He watches as cars pass by but his mind was focused on something else. 'I killed Y/n's mother... I..' Edwin chuckles but it was a scared, stressed chuckle. 'Shit...' He looks back at the school and a sudden thought comes to mind. 'If I could kill her mother, can I kill Emily?' His eyes widen at the thought and he shakes his head. 'Are you fucking crazy?! The whole mother thing wasn't even supposed to happen and you're already thinking about getting your hands dirty with someone else's blood?! The fuck is wrong with you!?' Edwin hits his forehead with the palm of his hand. 'Stupid, stupid!'
Edwin sighs then his mind starts thinking about yesterday. The amazing night you and him shared... Just the memories filled him with pure joy. It only left him craving more, but how can he get you when Emily will be in the way? As a matter of fact, she's going to bully you even more now that Edwin dumped her ass. Edwin clenches his fists and frowns. "She's in the way... I-I can't just let her do this anymore... I should put a stop to-" Edwin stops talking when he feels a hand be placed on his shoulder. He looks at the owner of the hand, seeing Jeremy. "Who... Are you?" Edwin frowns, gaining a smirk from Jeremy. "Name's Jeremy. You're Edwin, I assume?" "Yes...?"
Jeremy removes his hand and his smirk falls just a little bit as he looks away. "So, Edwin, are you having fun with my friend?" "Oh?" Edwin frowns at Jeremy. "You're Y/n's friend?" He questions and Jeremy silently nods as he stares off into the distance ahead of him. "Bet you're thinking of killing Emily, huh?" He finally looks at Edwin, seeing the tall male jump in surprise. "W-what?! N-no, I-" "Well, good news." He interrupts the panicky male. "It's already done." "W-wha..." "You want to protect Y/n, right?" "U-um..." Edwin thinks for a bit before slowly nodding. "Congratulations, you're now my little sidekick." Jeremy grabs Edwin's hand and shakes it. "N-now hold on-" "Follow me." He keeps interrupting the poor man. Sighing in defeat, Edwin does as he's told follows Jeremy. How the hell did he find two psychos in one morning?! And why do you know both of the psychos?! And why the hell does he keep having to assist them?!
They both enter the school hearing screaming and some kids running out of the cafeteria. Edwin nervously follows Jeremy as he calmly passes the frightened kids and into the cafeteria. Edwin gulps and heads in then gasps at the sight on the stage they had in the cafeteria. Three women: Emily, Sasha, and Amanda were hanging with their hands tied behind them and their mouths covered in tape. In their own blood, a letter was created on their naked bodies spelling 'HOE'. Edwin hears Jeremy laugh. "I thought it was kinda amusing. I got three girls. Enough to call them out on what they really are." He looks at Edwin, seeing the priceless look of fear on the man's face. Jeremy grins darkly and they both leave the cafeteria just as the police rush in. "So, Ed." They both continue walking. "I just want you to know that, with you being my little sidekick, you and I will be getting closer." He stops walking causing Edwin to do the same. Suddenly the look on Jeremy's face gets dark as he glares at Edwin. "That being said, you'll drop the 'getting closer to Y/n' idea. She's mine, not yours. If you stop, we'll be good friends." Jeremy smiles then it falls and a look of anger and jealousy forms. "If you proceed..." Jeremy lifts a thumb up to his own neck and slides it across his neck with a smirk. Edwin gulps, understanding what Jeremy meant. "I'd like an assistant, not a competition. I highly doubt you can compete against me anyway. So, do you understand the situation?" "Y-yes..." Edwin speaks lowly out of fear. "Perfect! I knew you'd understand, Ed! That's my man!" Jeremy hits Edwin's back and chuckles. Edwin jumps at the touch and tries to calm down. 'T-this is too much all in one morning... F-fuck...'
You head over to them out of the blue causing Edwin to jump again when he notices you behind him. You giggle, "Awe, someone's jumpy today." You then frown, "Do you guys know why the police are here?" Jeremy and Edwin look at each other then back at you. 'Did she not go to the cafeteria yet?' They both think then Jeremy shrugs. "I dunno." He calmly starts walking. Edwin quietly follows behind while you walk along side Jeremy. "Even class was cancelled. Apparently, they're sending us home for a while until things calm down. I don't exactly know why though." "It's better not to." Jeremy glances at you and you slowly nod. "Yeah..." You start to get nervous. School kept you from being stuck with your parents... Especially your mother. Anything's better than getting beat by your drunk mother. You three, along with other students, get assisted out of the school with a police officer as they ask you all questions.
Something about if you knew the three ladies and stuff... But they didn't exactly explain who the three ladies were so you couldn't give useful answers. After the questions, you head off with Jeremy and Edwin. "Why are you guys following me?" You look at Jeremy who was on your left, then Edwin who was on your right." "I want to hangout with my friend." Jeremy replies and you make an 'o' with your lips. You then look at Edwin, awaiting his answer. He was a lot quieter than usual... It was odd. Maybe he's shy now? Nah... Something looks to be on his mind...
"I heard this weekend is gonna be really hot." Jeremy suddenly brings up causing you and Edwin to look at him. "So, maybe we can go to the beach this weekend." "It's really gonna be hot?" Your eyes widen. "Winter's near. It's been cold for the past three weeks!" "Yeah, but you know how the weather is here sometimes..." Jeremy sighs and puts his hands in his pockets. "We don't have to go in the water, that might still be cold... But relaxing on the beach sounds nice." "Hm, we could do that..." You say as you think about it. "Edwin, you should com-" "Hey, Edwin, you'll be going too, right?" Jeremy accidentally interrupts you and looks at Edwin. Your eyes widen a little once more. 'Wow, so they're already friends...'
"H-huh...?" Edwin snaps out of his thoughts and Jeremy repeats himself, "The beach. Are you coming with us this weekend?" "Shouldn't it be really cold?" "Not on Saturday. Hell, I heard Sunday was still gonna be pretty hot." "Oh, then sure... It's not like I have anything planned." Edwin shrugs with a sigh. The three of you make it to your house and you open the door that was still unlocked. Rushing out earlier, you ended up forgetting to lock the damn door behind you... Oh well, your father was still home so he would have locked it when he left. Speaking of which, where the hell were your parents? Both cars were still here but you haven't seen neither one of them yet. "Can we come in?" You here Jeremy question so you look at him and nod. "Yeah, come in." You move aside and they walk in.
