16 • alcoholic much?

'y/n, we've ran out of wine' bliss groaned annoyed.
'shit have we? i dont think i have anything else left' i said standing up, 'i'll go check my room' i said walking off to to my bedroom.
Matty was following me close behind and i could not help but feel a bit anxious. My room was dimly lit, the overgrown collection of glass bottles that once contained the poison people call alcohol was scattered in the corner on the floor.
'geez [nickname] alcoholic much?' matty chuckled looking through the bottles.
'somethings gotta keep me clean' i laughed, i think i was playing the clean act pretty well.
'fair enough, darling' he chuckled again but stood up. His arms wrapped around my waist and his eyes met mine. He looked astonishing in the lighting of my room. I nearly gasped when his lips were on mine, his grip tightened on my waist and i smiled into the passionate kiss. It was heaven. It was sweetness.
The kiss deepened and he lifted me up, i wrapped my legs around his waist as my back hit the wall. Matty started kissing my neck again, tracing over the smooth skin of my skeleton-like collarbones. 'Matty..' i whispered breathlessly. My cheeks were flushed and i tilted my neck so Matty could reach the untouched skin.

When all of a sudden, Bliss walked in, 'y/n hurry up i need mor- OH MY GOD IM SO SORRY' she squealed and left the room. My eyes widened and i quickly jumped off Matty, 'come on, lets go get some drinks' i said dragging him out of my room.

Once we got back to Bliss and Alex, bliss kept her head down still embarrassed from walking in on us. Obviously its not the first time shes walked in on me with a guy and usually what we were doing was much worse but she reacted differently as it was Matty fucking Healy, her idol. Which is understandable.

'Sorry Bliss' Matty chuckled, 'come on lets go get some drinks' he handed me his jacket and i gladly put it on. It smelt like him.
'dont worry.. ive seen worse' she said chirping up again. 'are we going to the petrol station?' she asked. i groaned and nodded.
'hey maybe we'll see your not so secret admirer' matty was laughing again, remembering the night we hung out after the concert.
'oh how joyous, lets make it quick' i said leaving through the front door.

The walk was quick, the four of us all in conversation, i had noticed Alex's arm had wrapped around Blisses waist. I smiled to myself, she deserves to be happy and I feel like Alex can give her that happiness.

An audible groan left my lips as we entered the petrol station, of course he was there. He chewed loudly on the gum in his mouth, i noticed his fists were red and raw, he's probably one of those guys that punches his walls when he's angry. I scoffed and intertwined my hand within Matty's. My eyes searched through the alcohol, i picked up two bottles of red wine and made my way up to the counter with everyone else.
"can we get these, uhh, a litre bottle of vodka and two disposable vapes please" I said trying to make this interaction as quick as possible.
'of course, anything for you darling' the cashier winked at me, i could smell the potent stench of beer on his breath. It was revolting. Matty's grip on my hand tightened, i could sense he was annoyed by the way the cashier spoke to me. I squinted at his name badge, jay. That's such a fuckboy name.

He handed me the vapes and his hand pressed down on mine for a second, it made me feel uneasy the smirk he gave me made my bones shiver. He used to just be a weird guy that flirted with me but his eyes showed something much darker now which terrified me.

The interaction was quickly over after everything was paid for and we made it back to my apartment. However i was still a bit shaken up, 'y/n? are you okay?' Bliss asked noticing my mood change.
I shook it off, 'yeah i'm great, lets drink!'

The night ended in laughter and drunk smiles, Matty and Alex left at 1:00am as they were both busy tomorrow.

But i still couldn't get jay out of my mind, why was i so scared of him now?

something was wrong and little did i know he was going to change my life drastically in the future..
