Deadlock could remember the smoke that clouded the air along with the screams of pain and fear as his home was distroyed he was upgraded early and forced into a war when he was just a youngling, and as time went on he forgot about his creator's no matter how many times the tried to remember. But when a battle goes wrong leaving him on the edge of offlining he's rescued by his enemies, And as two of these autobots claim to be his creator's and one his twin he's left confused and doubting everything he's been told and the shadows of insecurities aren't helping nor is his new body.
Drift remembered a time when their family was whole when he had not only his creator and coder but when he also had a younger twin brother named Deadlock, but that was taken from him when the second bombs fell on Dead end city. Sure he still had his creator and coder but he was missing his other half and that hurt. Over time he managed to numb the pain with some not so healthy coping mechanism, and then one battle he's given his other half back some of the other autobots aren't pleased about a decepticon in their ranks but Drift will do anything to make his younger twin brothers life better than it has been no matter what.
Ironhide and Ratchet are reunited with thier missing creation that they thought died in Dead End city during a decepticon attack, and struggle with their grief as they attempt to cope with the knowledge that their creation was used as a weapon.
