Sunstreaker and Sideswipe were born in the pits and separated at birth during the bombing of Koen Sideswipe is found by autobots and Sunstreaker by decepticons, Sideswipe was living a good life well as good as it could be in war he had friends he had plenty of energon and he fought for a good cause.
Sunstreaker was living in hell each day was a struggle to survive little medical supplies and even less energon to go around and very little time to recharge, out on the battlefield he couldn't even trust his own fraction to help him or to not kill him but he made do he fought each day to survive he trusted no one in battle or anywhere else.
Then he gets captured on the battlefield by autobots and taken to thier brig he knows Megatron wouldn't give the autobots anything for him or any other soldier so he's unsure what's going to happen to him then he meets a cheeky red autobot.
