Nightmare collects broken Sans Killer was the first then Dust then Horror so when Nightmare brings a new Sans it's not so surprising but there's just something about the newbie that's just wrong
Maybe it's the way he trains continuously never stopping never resting unless Nightmare tells him too.
Maybe it's the way he barely eats like Horror did when he arrived despite coming from an Au suffering from famine.
Maybe it's the fact that Dust can see the ghost of Chara hovering above the newbie's shoulder whispering just like his ghost papyrus does.
Or maybe it's just that someone that young shouldn't have that much Exp or that much L.O.V.E
Cross is a kid when Nightmare finds him in the Anti-void and brings him back to meet his other crew the others are not quite sure what to thing of the newbie and Cross is emotionally constipated and in dire need of help whether he knows it or not.
