We explored their caves, and the discoveries instilled great curiosity within ourselves. Artifacts, tools, weapons, even their bones. With time, as we analysed the remains, it became clear these were our primitive ancestors; people who lived in a simpler but harsher time.

However, it was also clear they were still human. We also found amulets, art and evidenced that they lived in families and clans. This is to say, groups of people related to each other by blood. Our discoveries instilled a sense of connection to these people and a desire to learn more about their way of life.
Thanks to information services, which I may discuss later, the information about these discoveries was made available to the general public. This meant it was pretty easy for people to know about this.
People today see them as primitive, perhaps dumb and violent. However, I believe it is interesting to twist this concept around, and see them as people not so different from us. This is the tale of the dawn of humanity.
