Ashlyn's POV.
I woke up before him, I kissed him yesterday. Something came over me, I should apologize. I wasn't intoxicated, what's wrong with me. Breakfast is going to close in like an hour, I'll get him up I guess.
"Michael!" I had jumped from my bed to his. He groans before grabbing a pillow and hitting my face,"So we are playing this game!" I pick up a pillow and hit him back.
"You're dead," he laughs, his voice gravely from just waking up. He pushes his covers away and gets up, while I hold pillows, ready for a fight,"you know this isn't normally how I wake up in the morning."
I hit his stomach before bolting across the room, practically cornering myself.
"You never played war in school did you?" Michael comes closer, he hits me and waits for a reaction. I do react, I hit him back.
"No but my cousins taught me what to do." I smirk as I duck under his arm and make a run for the door, dropping the pillows and sprinting down the hall.
"That wasn't fair!" He ditches the pillows and comes after me. I take the elevator, I try to close the door before he gets in but he makes it,"Look who's cornered for real now." Michael gets me into a corner. I can see him lean down to my hight. The elevator dings and the door opens.
I pull the same trick and get away from him and make it to the breakfast area first.
"Look who won!" I tease him. I feel a hand on my butt, I have my pj shorts on.
"Are you sure?" Hands reach around my waist as I'm toasting a bagel. I turn so face him.
"Oh I'm sure." I laugh, kissing him quickly on the cheek before breaking out of his grasp to grab a banana.
Michael goes for Lucky Charms, and I have a bagel, banana, and some apple juice.
We sit down at a table and begin eating. I notice an old lady watching us, she didn't seem to be judging us but it was weird to have her stare. I turn back to Michael.
"Do you see that lady watching us?" I whisper to him.
"Yeah."
"Got any idea why?"
"No clue, how would I know?" He looks at me, I shrug. The lady comes over to us.
"Are you two dating?" her voice is slow and trembling.
"Well, uh, Ashlyn, are we? Um ma'am I'm unsure." I take the pressure off of him.
"We are if you want to be Michael." I look at him.
He sighs,"then that's a yes." he smiles.
"My husband and I were just like you two kids, fun and rebellious." she leans to whisper something in Michaels ear, I can't hear it but I'll ask him later.
