Michael's POV

----------------------

I drive, Ashlyn watches the road. The corners of her mouth had been turned up but were slowly starting to fall. I, on the other hand was happy as can be, I may have only known this girl for  few days but I've fallen for her hard already.

Lost in my thoughts, not even watching the road. I hear a distant scream but don't bother to come out of my brain and look into the present. Time stops, somethings not right, my thoughts are slowly turning to black, the edges are gone, spots appear. What's happening, I frantically try to bring myself to reality. I was almost there, but the pain I felt was too sharp and I bounced back into an ever darkening dream world. Ashlyn had been just next to me, and he face was completely dark and was now bruised and cut up. I screamed and lunged for her but she turned to dust and the wind swept her away. The sun was nonexistent in this world and it was pitch black and I couldn't see a thing. I felt things watching me. Demons perhaps, the ones that hide in the back of my head and don't like to come out when it light and happy. Somethings wrong, frantically I call for Ashlyn, she has to be okay she has to be.

Ashlyn's POV

Michael's hand started to slip off the wheel, his eye's were glazed over and I couldn't wake him up no matter how much I screamed at him and cried. His hands pulled the steering wheel closer to the other lane of traffic. I reached across the seat to grab the wheel and pull us back over. Only I pulled to far and the woods came barreling towards us. Michael's eye's were closed and he wouldn't wake up. He kept making inhuman noises as I reached across and tried to get us to safety. Michael's foot hit the gas in a kicking motion, we would speed up and stop suddenly. I couldn't move him with out hurting us or someone else. Michael's foot held on the gas this time and we rammed into the car in front of us. the front end of my car was crunched into pieces from the impact. I couldn't get out, my legs were stuck and I could feel the sting of the metal cutting into them. Michael had been snapped forward but he seemed to still be breathing. My face was cut from the glass of the broken windows around me and my neck was stinging from the seat belt holding me down in my seat.

No one was hurt in the car in front of us, they got out and came immediately came to help us. It was an old elderly woman in the car we hit, she made out with a concussion but she was able to call 911 before becoming too light headed and falling to the ground.

The police and paramedics arrived on the scene and they ran to Michael and I, whom were trapped in the car. After a long period of time they are able to get us out and rush us to the hospitial. I looked at my hands and they were much more pale than they normally are and everythings blurry. My legs ache from the cuts and I have no clue how much blood I've lost. They get Michael out and he's still in a coma like state. I reach for him in the ambulance but I can't get to him.

"Michael?" the intense pain sends me into a whirlwind of black and screams, I can't think anymore, I must be dead, I wish I was.
