Clark and I were in town. He had picked me up from another tutoring session with Whitney. The two of us planned to get something to eat before heading home because we were both getting these searing headaches, we figured we were just hungry, when Lex literally ran into us. Clark held onto him to steady him. it was weird because Lex was holding a gun, he didn't seem like the guy to do that unless he was in fear for his life.

"Lex, what's going on?" I ask

"Get away." Lex threw us literally throw a window and we crashed onto the floor, shattered glass with us. I groaned and blinked as my vision of lex changed. it wasn't a corporeal  version of him but it was something like you would see of a x-ray. Yes this X-ray had green bits. I blinked again and everything as he ran off.

"My eyes. Clark my eyes."

"Yeah, mine too." he got up and then held his hadn't out for me to take, which I did and he pulled me up. "Wait, you've got glass in your hair." he picked it out as i stood still within minutes the police were on the street and we were being questioned. I hate how we manage to find ourselves in the middle of a mess.

-----

The next day Lex's exploits were all over the news paper about him robbing the bank not far from where we bumped into him. Mom was reading it while I was doing or at least trying to do homework. My head was still throbbing.

"This is incredible. Why would Lex Luthor need to rob a bank?" Mom wondered out loud.

"I've seen some strange things in my day, but this defiantly takes the cake. Well, almost." Dad grabbed himself a cup of coffee. I groaned moving away from the table to sift through the drawers.

"Well he got away with $100,000." ugh could everyone just shut up, they were all talking so loud

"I know Lex and that wasn't him." Clark defended

"Can you please not talk so loud." I groan "Mom where are the painkillers and where are your sunglasses?" I question desperately

"You still got a headache sweetie?" she got up coming over to me and checking my head.

"It feels more like a Migraine. I do not have a temperature i just need the pills." She opened a separate draw giving me both. I slipped on the sunglasses and then took the meds.

"Clark, I know that he's a friend of yours, but you and your sister saw him with your own eyes." Dad put the coffee pot down.

"I don't know what i saw."

"For the love of my sanity stop shouting" I pleaded with them "Just shhhhh." i put a finger to my lips exaggerating the point.

"Okay that's it. You're staying home. I'm calling the school." Mom grabbed the phone

"I'm not sick, I don't get sick. My head just hurts and it doesn't help you're all shouting." I drop back onto my chair

"No arguing, you're staying home. Look, you two there must be a reasonable explanation for this, I hope." Mom insisted and continued on with the main conversation.

"Me too. I'd hate to think i have an evil twin." We all turned towards the front door to see Lex

"Lex we didn't hear you pull up." Mom replied. Lex took this opportunity to open the screen door and step inside

"May I come in? I promise I'm not packing any heat." he asked coming in anyway. "Oh you look rough. Hungover? " he gestured to me

"Bite me I'm 15 loser." I snap at him

"Excuse her. Her...concussion is effecting her mood." Clark replied and I stuck my tongue out at him "Why are you not in jail?" he questions

"Because I was hosting a reception for 200 fertiliser distributors in Metropolis at the time of the robbery." Oh my head, they were all so loud. My vision blured and turned funny again I wasn't seeing Lex, Lex. I was looking at his skeleton and this one did not match what I saw yesterday. No green bits.

"I...I can't I'm going to bed." I relinquish the fact that I might not be human sick but something was defiantly wrong. Mom was right and school didn't seem like a viable option which sucked. My vision returned to normal.

"I'm sorry about what happened to you yesterday." Lex apologised and I waved him off going upstairs, changing and going to bed where i sunk into darkness.

---------

"Mia! Mia! Wake up! Wake up!" I was shoved awake my brother. My headache was gone and I felt much better.

"What?" i grumble "Why aren't you at school already."

"It's the afternoon. Mom says you've slept all day." I sit up quickly and stare at my brother "It happened again."

"Seriously?" I ask already figuring out what he was talking about.

"Yeah come on." he pulled me out of bed and downstairs to where mom and dad were waiting. Then he explained what was going on.

"This has been happening to the both of you? Mia why didn't you say something?" Dad wondered as I tried to rub the sleep out of my eyes.

"I was extremely busy practicing the role of Sleeping Beauty. I think I had it nailed till Clark woke me up. My head's better by the way." I answer sarcastically and then yawn.

"So when you have these flashes, you can see through anything? People, objects?" Mom asked trying to get to grips with what she had been told. I think that I've slept through my confusion and now arrived at life sucks.

"Sometimes I see through things. Other times it's like an x-ray." Clark explained

"Mia?" Mom asked

"I'm still at x-ray. Unlike my brother I've been too unconscious to have anything different. It defiantly wasn't Lex yesterday the skeleton was different." I answered

"There's no warning? This just happens?" dad inquired

"Well I get a headache and then it just hits me."

"I just have a really long headache before and after. Speaking off...ugh its coming back" my eyes flashed to X-ray "Both of your hearts are going faster than a regular human heartbeat." my head tilted

"Mia!" They called and I snapped back to normal vision.

"Sorry." I apologised "First time it's a coincidence, medical reports suggest that twins can sometimes share hallucinations. But the fact that we've continued beyond the initial thing, suggests that we can probably add a new power to our freaky alien heritage." I flop back into the chair.

"Mia, Clark. I'm sure there's someway to control this." Mom tried to assure us.

"You guys., we can see through things. How do you control that?" Clark snapped

"You gotta practice. Your eyes have muscles just like your legs." Mom was unfazed by the outburst. Dad got up from where he was sitting with Mom to come to us.

"All you have to do is you have to figure out a way to condition them so that you don't get flashes" Dad made it sound so simple

"Fantastic, what other bright ideas do you have?" I got up and headed to the kitchen.
