Mom and Clark went out to run some errands. While I stayed at home on the couch reading. My head was back to throbbing pain again and the flashes were more frequent. It baffled me that mine was a constant thing and Clarks came in bursts. I threw the book to the floor in annoyance."Wow, what did that book ever do to you?" I turn sharply to face Whitney "I thought you liked a good book."
"What....are you doing here?" I question
"Well you weren't at school and sue me i missed my daily dose of you annoyance and sarcasm" he smirked , I rolled my eyes and turned around "Ah there it is." he chuckled and then came around so that he stood in front of me again but while he did he picked up the book.
"I came to hand this in. Miss Kent." he dug into his bag and pulled out a stapled set of paper "Figured, when you're better you could, sigh, roll your eyes and say that I'm a genius again." he handed it to me and I took it along with the book.
"You could have just handed this to Clark." I put it to one side "You didn't need to come all the way over." I tuck my knees up.
"Contary to your popular beliefs. Football players do actually show emotion like empathy. Like you not well, sucks. I feel bad. See emotions, i have them."
"I'm sure I could find a medical journal that could disprove your theory."
"You talk an awful lot like a doctor. And I've heard your friends call you Doctor Kent, why is that?" my eyes flashed again only this time it wasn't a x-ray as such. i covered my eyes immediately "Mia, are you okay?"
"Yeah you can go now. Like right now." I didn't here movement "Now!" I heard him leave and I peek through my fingers to make sure he had actually gone. He had and my vision normal again. I ran out of the house and too the barn.
"Dad! Dad!" He came downstairs "It happened again. Ugh I wanna bleech my eyes of that image." I groan and shiver in disgust.
"What happened?" he joked down and over to me holding me by the arms
"Whitney, he came in we talked and I flashed only I...didn't see his skeleton." I stared at him hoping that I would have to say more.
"Oh...OH. I...I don't know what to say to that." he figured it out
"This is ridiculous. I already feel like a freak I don't need the vision to prove it." I feel deflated
"Hey, you listen to me. You are not a freak. You are a strong young woman and like other strong young women you're having a tough time. But you're gonna get through it. Like you've done everything else. Come here." He pulled me into him to comfort me

There was some crazy stuff going down. When Mom and Clark went to run errands, they went into the antique shop to pick up a lamp that mom wanted. But something was weird and then when Mom left she saw Clark in her truck trying to run her over. Only it wasn't Clark because he came over to her after seeing what happened while the doppleganger version of him was still driving recklessly. That and Clark would never hurt Mom. The three of us were sat at the dining table while Dad was on the phone to the police.
"Police found the truck. Abandoned out by the Stewart Farm." he told us coming back in
"Did anybody else see the driver?" I wondered as he came to sit down with us.
"No.
"I could have sworn it was you, Clark." Mom breathed
"I guess I'm not the only one with a vision problem." Clark tried to joke but it was in poor taste and bad timing.
"I don't understand. whoever it was, how did they get your keys?" Dad wondered
"I have no idea. I only went to the antique...." Mom stopped mid sentence like she figured something out.
"What is it Mom?" I question
"Nothing. It's just that Rose Greer was acting very strange. I found $5,000 in cash under a dresser. It had a Smallville Savings and Loan band on it. She said a customer paid her, but.."
"You think it's from the bank robbery?" Clark wondered
"It crossed my mind." Mom nodded
"So wait a minute. Rose took your keys, turned into Clark, and then tried to run you down?" Dad inquired incredulously. When he put it like that, the whole thing sounded mad.
"You're right it's crazy." Mom brushed it off.
"I don't think so." Clark got up
"What?" I ask my brother
"I saw a flash of Tina Greer's skeleton. It was weird and had green bits. It didn't look human. You know like the ones you've shown me in anatomy books." he pointed to me
"I saw green specs when the X-ray vision first hit after we got knocked by faux Lex. Do you think Tina has some sort of ability?" I fire back as we began coming up with a theory.
"Tina's probably different because she was born with soft bone disease." I raised my eyebrow at my mother "They had her on all these experimental drugs. Doctors didn't believe she'd live to see first grade." Mom explained
"So what happened?" I inquire
"She got better right around her 3rd Birthday.." he trailed off as Clark and I shared a thought.
"It was right after the meteor shower wasn't it?" we questioned
"Yeah." he answered. I stood up not putting a hand to my head, trying to connect what was going on. I didn't help that my head had returned to it's throbbing phase.
"What do you think Tina's doing?" Mom wondered
"I don't know. Mia's right about the first flash i saw green bits as well but I just wish I could control this."
"Ditto." I muttered to my brother.
"What if you tried focusing it, you know like a telescope?" Mom offered. Dad got up agreeing with the idea.
"You could start with something small." he dug out his pocket knife and closed his hadn't around it. "Try to tell me what I have in my hand right now."
"Your pocket knife." We answered and he showed us it
"You could see through my hand." I giggled and covered my mouth
"No you always carry your knife in that pocket." Clark answered causing me to have more fits of giggles. The subject was dropped for now. Clark and i went upstairs and relaxed in my room as he told me the little things that had been happening at school.
"I saw Whitney naked." I casually stated and he sat up straight in shock
"What?" he questioned
"He came over, to check on me and hand in the mock test. When the second vision kicked in again. Only this time it wasn't an x-ray it just removed a layer." I admitted hiding into my pillow he started laughing "Don't laugh I was mortified." I kicked him in the stomach he groaned slightly but carried on laughing
"I don't like whoever we are makes us weirdos. Like we aren't already as the orphans of the meteor shower." I look down messing with the hem of my t-shirt. "Super strength is not so bad, it's always been apart of us for as long as we can remember. Twin telepathy the same. The speed happened it was useful. But this, all its done in the past couple of days is violate people and bring up a tone more questions and insecurities." I admit.
"All I want is to be normal."
"When have we ever been normal?" he questioned making me scowl. "Look I know how you feel but its not like we can change who we physically are. We were born with this and as much as it sucks, we have to deal with it." he shuffled up and hugged me, making me feel slightly better.
