I sat out over at Saunders gorge just looking. This had been a lot and it would have been a good idea to be with Clark but we deal with things better alone at first and then together. Sometimes everything happened at once and it got really loud, i just wanted peace. i found this on one of my runs when I was younger and now it was my place to come when things got too much.

"Out for a late night stroll, Kent." i turned around seeing Whitney Fordman again. I groaned the last thing i needed to see was him.

"Get lost. I'm not in the mood." I huff turning away. I heard his footsteps and then he sat down next to me. I started to feel un well, which was weird because since going to high school. I hadn't felt like that with anyone other than Lana.

"Tough, because you got me at a curious time. I've seen you come out here, driving by in my car. Of all the places in smallville why here?" he questioned me

"It's quiet. Nobody comes here. Happy now? Can you leave?" i gestured for him to go but he didn't move.

"You are a strange one Kent. You're a freshman who doesn't give a crap about anybody." he stated

"That's rubbish. I care about people just not the likes of you. Trumped up football players." I grumble and stare out, i wasn't going to let Whitney Fordman ruin my peaceful time.

"You know I'm not really all that bad. Yes when I'm with the others I can get a bit out of control but you have got me all wrong." he tried to convince me. I shook my head not believing him "Okay how about this for five minutes. I'm not the high school jock. I'm just a stranger who listens." He removes his jacket and places it behind him.

"Five minutes. No judgment. What harm can i do?" he shrugged offering and I sighed

"Clark and i are adopted." I stated with a small struggling breath "That's not big news, we've known that for years. What our parents failed to tell us is that we were just left during one of the towns horrific times. They left us with something."

"What?"

"A letter." I lied "But time hasn't been kind to it so it might as well be morse code. They've kept it from us for years all in the name of protection."

"Isn't that what parents are supposed to do, even when we hate it?" he wondered

"You don't understand. No one apart from Clark does. It's too complicated, not even I can fully understand so trying to explain it to you, it's pointless." I stood and wobbled slightly, what the hell is wrong with me?

"Are you okay?" Whitney asks standing also

"I'm fine." I mumble. Just wanting to go home

"At least let me take you home, you look unwell." He grabbed his jacket "I swear if it makes you feel better I will drop you at the end of the drive." I huffed out a breath and let him drive me back. I headed inside and went straight up to my room locking the door and going to sleep.

-------------

That weekend I was with Chloe and Pete. We saw one of the mechanics from the garage being wheeled out on a stretcher. It was now the third time this week that someone with the same injuries has been taken away.

"That's the third guy this week." Pete commented

"And they're all former jocks." Chloe added

"It defiantly a pattern. I saw a guy that just gave off bad vibes. He wasn't doing anything strange per say, but while everyone seemed shocked at the scene before them at another attack. He seemed indifferent "Is it me or does that guy seem strange." I pointed him out to the others.

"Kinda. Let's check him out." Chloe took a picture of him and we headed back into the school newspaper room. Chloe was a whiz when it came to snooping. Clark joined us and we told him what happened.

"His name's Jeremy Creek. This is 12 years ago. And this is the one I took four hours ago." Chloe pointed it out to Clark.

"That's impossible. Must be a kid who looks like him." Clark theorised

"I thought he was a twin until we checked this." I picked up a piece of paper from the printer and brought it over.

"He left the state infirmary. Been in a coma for years, after suffering from electrolyte imbalance." I handed the paper over to Clark "He hasn't aged a day."

"So you're telling me he just woke up?" Clark questioned me

"There was an electrical storm. The hospitals generator went down and when it came back on Jeremy vanished." Chloe sat down back at her computer.

"The storm must have charged him up like a duracell." Pete commented

"He's back, in Smallville putting former jocks into comas. Why?" Clark wondered and i handed him the news paper clipping that we had found

"Because 12 years ago they chose Jeremy as the scarecrow." Pete told him

"Comatose boy found 20 yards from meteor strike." Clark read out.

"The blast must have done something to his body." Chloe assumed and Pete came over to her, tapping her shoulder.

"I think you ought to show them." he pointed to the two of us and I stared at him confused. What could Chloe have to show us, the four of us were practically in each others pockets. Practically being the key word, okay now that I think it through it would make sense that we don't know everything about her since she doesn't know everything about us.

"Show us what?" Clark voiced. She ended up taking us into the photography room and my jaw dropped at the wall of just pure craziness.

"It started out as a scrapbook and kind of mutated." she seemed proud

"What is it?" I question in a slight state of shock.

"I call it the wall of weird. It's every strange event that's happened in Smallville since the meteor shower . That's when it all began. The town went weirdo." she beamed. I turned to my brother wondering what the hell to say or do.

"So what do you think?" she wondered

"Why didn't you tell us about this?" Clark questioned going to examine the wall

"Do you tell me everything that happens in your life? We all keep secrets." she defended

"This isn't a secret its an unhealthy obsession." I join with my brother "This is insane, why...I can't even comprehend why you think all this tragedy and weirdness is exciting. These are peoples lives."

"You don't have to judge." she looked down

"How many times since we've met do I have to say. I'm the judgey one? I mean look at this little girl." i point to the picture

"Lana" Clark muttered and I stopped and did a double take, then i read the date, a few days after the shower and our ship fell to earth.

"Our fault?" I mumble so that only he could hear.

"It's all our fault." He ran out and I turned to the wall when something caught my eye a picture of two children wrapped in blankets. I snatched it from the wall.

"Ah the mysterious orphan twins, no name just that they were found abandoned." Chloe chimed and I stared at her tears forming in my eyes.

"Like I said peoples lives." I shoved my way past her and went to find my brother. I searched the entire school, the parking lot and the graveyard which was a dim place to collect your thought but nothing and I had his things.
