Chapter 7: Showing Her Skills

Eliana walked towards the next instructor, her heart racing with excitement and nerves. She had always been fascinated by martial arts and had been practicing wing chun with her mother since she was a child. Now, she had the perfect opportunity to test out her skills.

As she approached the testing area, she saw that the other students were facing off against the instructor in a series of sparring matches. Eliana's eyes lit up at the prospect of joining in. She was eager to show off her abilities and prove to everyone that she was more than just a member of a top five power family.

She approached the instructor, who looked at her skeptically. "I'm not sure you're ready for this," he said.

Eliana smiled confidently. "I've been practicing wing chun for years," she said. "I'm ready to put my skills to the test."

The instructor nodded, and Eliana stepped into the ring. She squared off against her opponent, focusing all of her attention on the fight ahead. She could feel her adrenaline pumping and her muscles tensing as she prepared for the fight.

The sparring match began, and Eliana quickly realized that her opponent was no amateur. He was fast and agile, and he had a lot of experience under his belt. But Eliana was not about to be discouraged. She used all of the techniques and strategies she had learned over the years to keep her opponent at bay. She was quick on her feet, dodging and weaving to avoid his attacks.

Eliana's opponent threw a punch, but she was ready for it. She dodged to the side, using her quick reflexes to avoid the attack. She countered with a series of swift kicks, aiming for her opponent's legs and torso.

The fight continued, and Eliana could feel her abilities improving with each passing moment. She was faster and stronger than she had ever been, and she knew that she was more than a match for her opponent.

As the fight went on, Eliana's confidence grew. She could see the surprise in her opponent's eyes as she landed hit after hit, and she knew that she was starting to gain the upper hand.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Eliana landed the final blow. She delivered a powerful kick to her opponent's stomach, sending him crashing to the ground.

As she left the ring, the other students looked at her with a mix of respect and awe. Eliana knew that she had proven herself to be a powerful and capable fighter, and she couldn't wait to see what else she was capable of.

Eliana couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction as she walked away from her victory against the instructor. She had only used half of her strength, but it was still enough to leave a dent in the dummy and score well above the other students. She couldn't wait to see the look on her father's face when she told him about her success.

As she walked back to the locker room with Lily, a handsome but arrogant guy approached them. He introduced himself as James and boasted about being part of one of the top 5 power families. He suggested that Eliana should stick with him and show the other students how it was done.

Eliana was unimpressed by his arrogant demeanor and saw that he was barely able to win his own match. She politely declined his offer and excused herself to go get changed for the next class. As she left, she tossed him a water bottle, telling him he looked like he needed it.

The other students whispered amongst themselves, surprised that James had been rejected. Some even laughed at his expense. Angry at the mockery, he turned to Lily and belittled her ability to control plant life, calling it basic and lacking luster.

Lily grabbed Eliana's hand and tried to lead her away, telling her that james wasn't worth it. But Eliana wasn't about to let him get away with his insults. She stood up for Lily and told insert full name that he should focus more on training rather than bashing others.

James challenged Eliana, asking what would happen if he didn't listen. Eliana confidently told him that she would make him understand. At that moment, the instructor rushed over and broke up the altercation, reminding them that any conflicts had to be resolved through an official duel.

Without hesitation, Eliana challenged james to a duel the next day. He eagerly accepted, telling her that he would show her what it was like to be under him. As the students dispersed, Lily thanked Eliana for standing up for her and commented on how sweet she was, even though they had just met. Eliana blushed at the compliment and chuckled, shaking her head at Lily's cuteness.
