I woke up in a daze, I could feel the hangover before even opening my eyes. As I went to turn over I felt arms around me from behind, and I instantly froze as I remembered who I had fallen asleep with.

My stomach turned both nauseously and excitedly as I smiled, letting my eyes peer open to the sunlight creeping through one of Colby's windows. It honestly did all feel like a dream, but I just laid there for a while and thought about everything that happened last night, and also what was happening currently.

I was laying on my side, and Colby was laying behind me with his arm draped around my body. He wasn't right up against me but he was definitely close. I contemplated on waking him up or just sneaking out of his bed, but I decided to do something else to see what would happen.

I began to shift and turn towards him as gently as possible, and once I was facing him he began to stir a little. His arm started moving on me, and I think once he realized there was someone next to him he began opening his eyes.

Just turning around and seeing him right in front of me had me smiling, he was so cute. Once his tired eyes focused on me he returned the smile, and he immediately used his arm that was over me to pull me into him.

I giggled and swung my arm around him, pulling myself completely against him as he tucked his leg in between mine. Waking up next to my best friend and getting morning cuddles was something I didn't know I needed. I felt so happy, so comfortable, so safe.

This was the closest we had ever been. My mind suddenly wandered to the realization that our bodies were against each other's completely from our chests to our legs. I was aware of the feeling of him against every part of me.

It was actually weird to think about, considering him and I had never been intimate like this before he left. And the fact that both of us were just okay with it now was hard to wrap my head around.

My head was tucked under his and I inhaled the smell of the cologne still prominent on his neck, it was the same cologne he wore back home and brought back so many memories.

"So it wasn't a dream" Colby said in a raspy tone that had my stomach turning.

"Nope" I said back, my voice was muffled into his shirt.

I thought he'd let me go after that, but we just laid there holding each other for a while, and I was fine with that. I actually dozed in and out of sleep a little, being in his arms was so cozy.

I woke back up when he began to shift, he was pulling back from me as my eyes opened.

"Did you fall back asleep?" He asked with an amused smirk.

"Maybe" I said.

I watched closely as he licked his lips and smiled, I couldn't help but look at them. Once I had caught myself and looked back up, he then glanced at mine. I held my breath in that moment, and I think he did too. I knew right then we were both thinking the same thing, I thought my heart was about to beat out of my chest.

It was silent for a few seconds as we studied each other, and I decided to break it.

"You look so cute when you're sleepy" I said softly.

Colby laughed under his breath and he looked away. I know I made him shy with the compliment, I don't think he was expecting me to say something like that.

He slowly looked back up at me with a questioning look, almost as if he wanted to know what was going on. I obviously wasn't going to answer or bring anything up, and I ended up looking away shyly too, but I bit my lip softly in the process.

I knew how to be flirty, and I was trying everything in my power to make it subtle. I knew he could see it though.

"I'm excited for today" I finally said as I looked back at him, "do you wanna come with to see my place when I go to get ready?"
