Waking up next to him was like a fairytale. Letting my eyes peer open for the first time, seeing just the silhouette of him next to me from the sunlight peeking through my curtains.

I laid still for a while and tried to enjoy the moment, but eventually I really had to go to the bathroom. I slowly slid out of the bed and went to the bathroom, then when I came back I walked to the window and peeked through the curtain.

I gasped softly as I stared wide eyed at the beautiful pink and orange sky, the sun was just peeking up over the ocean that I could see from the window. I smiled and quietly yet silently drew the curtains open, causing the room to light up in this soft pink, angelic sunrise.

I walked back over to the bed and really looked at Colby for the first time, he looked so cute when he slept. I crawled back in next to him, but instead of laying down I continued to get closer to him.

Once I was in reaching distance of him I slowly laid myself onto his chest. The pressure of me on top of him made him stir a little, but he didn't open his eyes. I studied him for a second, taking an extra long look at his soft lips that were slightly parted.

I slowly brought my hand up to the side of his face, letting it slide slowly behind his ear as I continued to admire his beautiful features.

Suddenly he took a deep breath in, letting his eyes open slowly. It took him a second to focus on me, and when he did I expected him to smile, but instead his face stayed in a daze as his eyes looked right down to my lips.

The hand that was laying over his chest felt it raise deeply then stop, almost as if he held his breath just as I did. As quickly as his eyes dropped to my lips they looked back up to mine, and I let a shy smile form on my face.

"Morning sunshine" I said softly.

It was then that Colby's chest fell again, and he began to smile too as his arm came sliding up around me.

"Good morning" he said back, his free hand coming up to hold my arm that was laying up on his shoulder.

We looked at each other for a few seconds in silence, the way he was looking at me had the butterflies returning. It was just another page in the fairytale. He looked so mesmerized by me, and it was making me do the same.

Once he was fully awake and focused, and once he became aware of his surroundings, he looked over towards the open window. I began to smile as I watched a shocked look form on his face.

"Holy shit" he said, "is that the sunrise?"

I giggled and began to sit up out of his grip.

"Why do you think I woke you up silly" I said playfully as I grabbed both of his hands.

His smile grew as he let me pull him up and off the bed, I did it slow since he had just gotten up. I smiled excitedly as I walked him to the window, then I looked around.

"Did you bring a sweatshirt?" I asked.

He looked at me and shook his head.

I quickly turned and went to my closet where I found an oversized black hoodie, and I brought it to him and held it out to him.

"Here, put this on."

He smiled at me with amusement as he took it and pulled it over his head. It actually fit him perfectly. He seemed super sleepy, but I could see the excitement in his expression as he followed me to my balcony.

I opened the doors and immediately felt the cool fall breeze hit my face, it was so refreshing. There it was, yet another page to my fairytale. Walking out onto my balcony in LA, getting to watch a sunrise over the ocean in the perfect morning weather.
