5.13 Any funeral

Esther is sitting at a table for two at a fancy restaurant waiting for someone. She smiles when she sees a young boy approaching the restaurant. One of the bully twins, Kelley, comes into the restaurant and sits across from Esther.
"Hey, baby. How long do we have?" he asks as he opens the menu.
"About two hours I think. Dustin's working late." she says and smiles at him. They talk all through the night and have a romantic date together. After a while he asks the question she's been dreading.
"When are you gonna leave him?" he asks and tilts his head a little bit. Esther sighs and looks into his eyes.
"As soon as I can. It's not that easy. It will affect my daughter too" Esther says doubtingly.
"I knoow, it always does. But I think me and your daughter can get along pretty well. And I think that she won't think it's too bad after a while. My parents got divorced when I was seven, I adapted to that" he cheers her up.
"I don't think you're gonna get along so well when she finds out the man her mother left her father for is only a year older than herself" Esther says and laughs a little bit at the situation. Kelley leans back with a smile.
"Won't you feel weird being in a relationship with a 45 year old at 17?" she asks and he shakes his head.
"Not at all. I love you for who you are and your age doesn't bother me one bit. Neither does the fact that you have a kid in my age" he says proudly and she smiles a little bit and looks down. He leans forward and takes her hands in his.
"Hey, I wouldn't be ashamed to be seen with you anywhere. I'd show you off that's what I would do. If people question it I'll be proud to tell them the truth" Kelley assures her and makes her smile again. "And, I've never even met your daughter. I don't know who she is but I'm a friendly guy. I can get along with anyone at any age. I'm sure your daughter and I will be best friends in a couple days"
After a while they get up from their seats. Kelley helps her put on her jacket and lets her hold his arm when they walk out of the restaurant. On the way out he pays for them both and then he walks her to her car. They say goodbye with a kiss and she gets in her car. He walks down the road to his motorcycle. He puts on his helmet and waves goodbye to Esther as she drives by him. He starts his bike and drives off.

At the hospital Leo is sitting on one sife of a desk with his arm on a pillow. Caroline ties a ratchet strap around his arm and tightens it.
"Do you know what your IQ is?" she asks and he looks at her.
"No" he says.
"Then we should do an IQ test on you soon. Would you say that you're shy or easily scared?" she sits down on the other side of the desk and picks up a needle.
"When I was younger I was afraid of everything. I still have to sleep with a light on. Other than that I'm not really scared of anything. I have nyctophobia, that's why. Will that hurt?" he asks as she's fixing with the needle.
"Only a bit. I'm gonna take a blood sample"
"Cause I'm a little scared of needle. Or not scared but- I don't like them" he says and tenses up a little in teh chair.
"Just keep calm. It won't be long. And since something is already turning in you, you probably won't feel as much pain as you're use to when doing these things." she says before she sticks the needle in his arm. He looks away as soon as it enters and he takes a deep breath. After a little while he looks confused and looks down at it.
"I can't feel it. Is is supposed to be like that?" he asks worriedly.
"I think so. I'm not a monster so I wouldn't know exactly what they feel but it should be fine" she says before she takes the needle out again.
"How tall are you?" she asks.
"About five ten" he says and she lets him stand up again. She looks up at him.
"Yeah that seems about right. Alright we're doen for now. You can wait with the others outside while I run the tests on your blood. I'll be there in about ten minutes" she says and he thanks her before he walks out to Nellie and Bonnie.

After about ten minutes Caroline comes out to them again.
"I've gone over it. And it's strange to me. Leo May find it harder to adapt to being a wolf than the other wolves did in the beginning. I suggest you train him hard with the help of a really good wolf with high control, a smart wolf if you can find one. And someone who's not easy to hurt someone who's a strong protector."
"Is there anything wrong with Leo?" Nellie asks a bit worried. Leo turns to Caroline with the same look as Nellie.
"I don't think Leo is the problem. I think Murphy was the problem. Leo doesn't have the genes to turn into a wolf yet he somehow did anyway. What Leo should've become is a hawk. He's good with people and has high social skills. He's a quick thinker and has a flexible mind. He is also impressively flexible in his body. He's a quick learner which will come in handy. Question is if he's quick enough." She looks at Leo with a sad and worried look.
"The only thing he has in common with the wolves is that he's quite shy. He doesn't like to take up all the space outside of the theater stage where he feels at home. He has a lot of fears. I believe that will make the part of controlling the anger easier, thank god for that. I think this Fenrir had intentions. Leo told me about what happened when he got bitten. If Murphy would have wanted to kill Leo, he would have done it easily. A Fenrir is unlike wolves when it comes to packs. They don't have packs. But they make sure Fenrir stay alive. I think Murphy chose Leo" she explains.
"Yeah Archimedes said something like that too. he said I was his haire" Leo says and looks at Nellie.
"Chose him to continue the fenrir's existence?" Bonnie asks and steps closer to Caroline.
"Exactly"
"So wehn Murphy dies" Nellie turns to Leo and goes quiet.
"Leo is next" Caroline and Bonnie both look at Leo.
"you need to start training him. He needs to control being a wolf before he turns into a Fenrir. No one will teach him how to maintain control after that." Caroline says and Nellie can hear Leo's heart speed up in fear.

Bonnie takes the car home and Nellie and Leo walk out into the forest as Nellie sends two messages.
"Who are you texting?" Leo asks catching up with her in the forest.
"A smart wolf and a good protector. I figured the one thing I can get for you, standing a chance to a fenrir is someone who will be hard to kill" she says and then they wait in teh forest until Archimedes and Elliot shows up.
"If what you said about him is true, then that sure will be hard to kill" Leo says lokosing at Elliot approaching them.

The same night Andre is at Alvin's funeral. As his family and all of the others are walking to their cars away from the church, Andre hears something from the woods. He lets his parents walk ahead as he stays to listen to the forest. He walks a bit closer and meets two bright blue eyes. He walks a little bit closer until he can see the whole fenrir.
"I know it was you" Andre says and Murphy closes his eyes. Andre looks up and sees Sarah stand up on top of Murphy. She climbs down from him and walks up to Andre.
"You're Elvis' dead sister aren't you?" He asks and takes a step back.
"Correct"
"You work together with this thing?" he asks with a breaking voice.
"I do" She says quietly before she takes his hand and sets him on fire. Murphy lays down still with closed eyes. When Andre has stopped screaming he turns up toward the sky and howls.
